"Ditto Dreamwalker"
I did a pretty good job on the loot, but ony ended up with around 2500, must be a lot more hidden somewhere.
Great job on this one though....

Terrific first mission, jesps :D
I was really impressed by it's size and the variety in settings the player comes across, all nicely designed and having it's own music theme.
Especially liked the mining complex. Finding my way through all those tunnels, having no idea where to go, was fun. The attention to detail, with various encounters of enemies, really made the place come to life!
Liked the haunted prison area as well.
Took me 2 1/2 hours to complete and got the bonus objective for finding +3000 loot. Also found a secret.
Great campaign intro. I'm very much looking forward to part 2 :thumb:

Loved the span, ambience... Respawning AIs were nicely chosen - though I never figured out what triggers which of them. Made running back through the "cleaned" city all that funnier :)
One thing it wasn't the greatest mission for is loothunt :) Still, managed to complete it. 100% loot, 100% secrets, (I hope) 100% KOs :)
(And yeah, I have noted down where everything is, that is, have a lootlist now).
One thing that distressed me a little was moving "downed" zombies. I noticed them before in Haunted Hospital, but I thought it was intentional there. Now, this mission didn't seem to be horror, but I am 100% sure I saw some of the zombies NOT where I downed them... And couldn't find at least one downed at all. Was it happening always and I just didn't notice it before? Did anyone see them actually move? (I didn't, only noticed them being in different spots after walking elsewhere for some time).

CheeseshireCat: Did the zombies move, but stay down? Or were they standing in a different place?
One of my beta testers did report a zombie standing up (but it was non solid) after being chopped down. I disregarded that as a game bug rather than a mission bug.

I had explored the town (most of it, anyway), headed for the prison, turned on electricity, went to the officer's quarters, bumped into a zombie. And then, when I tried to reload, I discovered that both of my save games had become corrupted!   I was really enjoying this mission, and after coming this far, I really don't feel like starting over from the beginning. If anyone has a save game from around that part of the mission (or after arriving in town, at least), I'd be really grateful!

I thought downed zombie standing up is a game bug after loading saved game.
As for my case... Well, I didn't actually see them move, I'm not a huge fan of watching grass grow, but a few times when I went back thru the area where I downed a zombie (and I generally try to down any I encounter in a place where I am not likely to "wake" it back), they were in a different spot - or I just didn't find them where I expected them to lie - the latter is particularly in case of zombie in officers' quarters, and zombie of Lt. Connolly whom I downed in library-type area. She was neither there, nor in cell, and I didn't look everywhere.
The similar case in Haunted Hospital was when I downed female zombie walking the corridors, after luring it all the way over after the reception area, then was going back thru the area, every time it was in much different spot, first in doorway near patient rooms, then in the corridors, then near the storage... If it's a game bug, in THAT mission it was... it added one Hell of an impact to already tense game play, so I really remembered it. Maybe I was encountering it even before, but just didn't notice.
Edit:
What causes the generator to shut back down? I am pretty sure it isn't going to cells, because I got back to the city once via the main entrance, carrying Bennett over my shoulder, thus skipping the second part of mines altogether, and another time I just had to get there because the gates were closed and power cut
I finished this mission just now...but it was close. My framerate was so horrible at the end I skipped looking for the second secret and 1100 loot I had yet to find.
The only bug I noticed (besides the crippling framerate of course) was that in the prison there stands a haunt in a hallway, just before you reach the prison cells. I saved the game and tried to run past him. Didn't work, so I reloaded...but there was no Haunt there. I shrugged and continued on with the mission.
My opinion? For a first mission, it's a good one. It has rough edges (and horrible spelling, I'm big on spelling) but I enjoyed playing it. There was a big "WTF?" moment at the beginning where I was trying to figure out how the ship ended up where it was. No way in, no way out, not enough water for the ship to get there.
