I guessing the Basement Key in the guard tower was actually going to be used to access the basement room to switch off the watcher outside the vault?

Hi Fortuni
Would you be able to re-up your walkthrough? Thanks

I guessing the Basement Key in the guard tower was actually going to be used to access the basement room to switch off the watcher outside the vault? You can open that door using the red key called "Sec office key" iirc. The basement key just opens the door from the exterior to the bank as an alternative to picking the lock.

I am a little perplexed with this mission.
The only thing that can take a vine arrow, that I have found anyway, when you want to get back from the pool terrace, is a house on the left of the warehouse that has a big wooden parapet. But I don't seem to be able to reach the rope while standing on the wall surrounding the terrace.
Is there an other way?
I haven't found a way to open the green door of the warehouse, which would be another way back.
Something that needs caution is that one must choose to visit the house with the pool only AFTER has visited the whole other map if one does not want to backtrack in order to find more loot or the remaining keys.
Or, at least, I can't find another (more doable) circular way around the area back and forth from that house.
Edit to answer my question, this is the way back, but it took too many deaths and reloads and also bouncing and falling to finally make it. Maybe the parapet could be a bit wider or maybe I should by the more expensive, longer rope vine arrows next time.

Funnily I only replayed this mission a few days ago aswell and had the exact same problem. On top of that I didn´t have enough vine arrows and couldn´t reach the one that I sticked in that wooden wall, so I had no rope arrow on my way back home

It's possible to just jump from the wall around the pool to the ledge that enters the warehouse, you can make the whole way without any arrows.

Just completed on expert and thoroughly enjoyed the thieves highway and rope & jumps to the bank. The security at the bank did prove a challenge even with the use of my trusty BJ.
Stumbled near the end as I couldn't find the last 20 loot... scattered coins
on a window ledge again ! Thanks to fortuni hints lootlist (post (
https://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=151200&p=2470815&viewfull=1#post2470815) #63) all loot and secrets found.
FM helps improve your rope and jumping skills; only abandoned one rope (of 6) which I could have retrieved if I'd had the patience before I'd finished.
Definitely worth a play and hope to play future Apebeard FM adventures.

Wow! This mission is going to get a revisit for sure. Ghosted the whole thing except for when I had to run to the vault, guards heard and/or saw me doing that plus missed a lot of loot & secrets.
Time Taken: 2hr 40min
Loot: 4870/6112
Pockets Picked: 03/03
Secrets: 04/10

Just finished it for the first time! Immediately I noticed the classic T2 style! Immediately it felt like a Life After The Party 2.0 OM! You put sooo many little references into this mission, it genuinely felt like an hommage to it!! I like it very much! Congrats to this very beautiful mission! Playthrough went really smooth. (Almost too smooth - no dangers):ebil:
If there was one thing though I could wish for, (and I know this is true for me to any FM :cheeky:) it would have been some mystical aspect. Something magical or mysterious. Huge potential there that would have raised this FM into the heavens in my personal ratings.
The readable were ok, all meaningful and short. I like them short but I prefer some more personal stories involved that create a strong immersion.
When I take the time to comment on a mission, it's always a good sign that I liked it very much. I really enjoyed playing it and was in awe when I stood still in the garden just watching the trees and the moon.(Necro Age)
Thanks for this beautiful gem!
And Merry Christmas to everyone!:joke:
