Following Garret- son's advice I went to the chamber at the top of the Grand Gallery. The Ruby Stone or key is used on a small trapdoor in the floor to the front and right of the sarcophagus.
I must say, I really love this mission. While staying as true as possible to the actual design of the interior of the Khufu Pyramid, the map is challenging and totally different from most Thief Missions. If this is the creator's first attempt, I say it's a job well done.

The buttons ive come across do 1 of 2 things, #turn lights on or open a door/trap. I would type more but im not sure exactly where you are..

# Reading any scrolls crashes the game to desktop.
If explored all the plases I could find using
the trap door via the ruby key
but I still cant find anything to open the
sabd door on the lower level.
I agree with Lightningline, that much spiders - I used the gas arrows against them.
30 gas arrows this will be enough and even will remain by the end of mission. I tested this mission and author in right to leave as he wants. Sorry for my English.

I like this mission. The long corridors aren't disturbing me! In my opinion it is a big plus for the atmosphere in this mission! If you like it or not, pyramids are built like this. And that is the point in this FM! :thumb:

HEHE are we sure this isn't another one of Sluggs' practical jokes like "Bestest FM?"

Yes, we're pretty sure about that.

I'm giving this one a shot, despite what the earlier posters said (though I'm inclined to agree with them thus far). The spiders are incredibly annoying, as are the loooooong hallways... I crawled up one apparently into outer space
I don't have any keys, but I've been to the sand dune room (with a locked door) and what may be the grand something? it was very tall, and sloped up to a locked door at the top? what now, folks?

Have about 8000 in loot. Used a few keys. Where is this ruby key? I think it's what I need to continue.

I really, really hate all these spiders. Did anyone stop to count them let alone wonder what they feed on?

I write to author to was less spiders.
