She-Thief: Wasn't he or she .... (who can tell) great!!!:cool: :cheeky:
I didn't end quit yet, just have to start playing now ...:ebil:
Sinistershadow: I looked it up in my dictionary. The english language also knows the word: hernia. It's a "slimming" of the "discs" between the spinalcord in your back or neck. It stulps out into the nervebag (sorry .. I'm nót sure these all are the right names of these parts of the body) and that causes a lot of pain. People often must get an operation for this.
My daughter (she's just 24 years old) has 5 of them! That's so horrible. It doesn't even is an item in our family!!!

I've completed the loot objective and the scroll objective. I've gone through the room with the skull-shooting, bent over skeleton, broken down the wood on the door, and killed the thing in the tomb in the room with an eye on the wall. Where should I go to be able to leave?

Search for the cave and go down .. to the starting point!
Run along the skeleton
and you'll be fine ....at the end:ebil:

Hi:cool: ,
I finally plucked up the courage to;
bash those spiders and play this fm. It was frustrating and difficult in places but also worth it for the gameplay. I really liked the egyptian architecture and paintings, plus all that loot was a thief's paradise :devil:. This is just a tip for arachnophobics or anyone who wants to get past those horrible crawlies; fire a gas arrow strategically at a bunch of spiders and you can take out five or six of them at a time. My favourite bit in the fm was luring a load of skeletons into falling down a trapdoor:joke:! And I thought the lit torch was a cool idea.
On the whole, I thought it was a carefully thought-out, unusual and nail-biting fm and;
quite realistic with all the creepy-crawlies, treasures and traps. Remember Indiana Jones? Scary but fun-scary. Apart from the spiders. I'll never get used to so many of them :eek:.
Zmey, keep making the fms and well done :thumb:.

I have to say that this mission wasn't as bad as I thought. The biggest problem I had was a little too many scarab spiders which people have said already, the super long hallways, and the obscure buttons which people have also said.
The graphics were great, the concept was great. The traps and such were great.
I was extremely frustrated with this mission at times. If it wasn't for reading here, I probably would have given up on it. I give it a 7 of 10.

Ugh. Spiders. Scaraby or not. . .*shudders* I've started/restarted this one six times now, and keep getting spider-slaughtered. Even with 30 arrows, I still can't get them all. i got into a couple new areas, saw some stuff (yes, very informative, isn't that? lol) then ran into more spiders and got killed yet again.
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not afraid of spiders. . .but these things have major cooties. I can't stand them. Thtey are gross and the ones in Thief creep me out with their noises. I can handle undead. I don't like them, but I can get past them. I can get past the odd spider if I don't have to look at it too closely. . .but the hoards of these ones are seriously giving me the chills and making me nearly shiver out of my bed. (yes, I play mostly on my laptop propped up in bed. Lovely way to go to sleep, isnt it? :P)
Anyway, this one looks interesting. I'd like to play more of it, but there are just too many spiders for me at this point. Gonna have to shelf it until I can face them or th eauthor releases a version with fewer spiders. Either fewer spiders or 100s of gas arrows so I dont keep running out from shooting every blasted spider I find. lol
Pity though. I love these archaelogically based missions. I absolutely loved that pyramid mission in the Water Contest. Had hoped this one would be similar. Maybe it is if you can get past the creepy crawlies. *shudders again and goes to find something good to read to get spiders off the brain*
