Well, you can always climb the little shed by the gate, then jump and mantle the "gallery". Now you should be able to get around the yard and finally climb over the gate... some interesting textures on the other sides of the boulders... :sly:

Will there be a "no huge wave file full of rather annoying droning" version like it used to with the original?

Ah, I'll have to ask Jason but he'll surely agree ... we just forgot about it.

I didn't forget, I just didn't feel like keeping multiple versions of old missions hanging around in my archive. The listing is getting too long as it is and the collection of separate briefings and sounds and such is long due for a cleanup.
What I need to do is cook up an "alternate versions" link where I can hide multiple downloads for one mission. One more thing for the list....

I have all the obj except for finding out what happened to my friend and enough loot. I can't seem to find the way up from the water in the crypt section. There is a ghost, electric light with switch, plus a moving wall (trap) and in the ceiling is a ladder and hole I can't reach. I am playing on expert. I was seriously freaked by the tight hallways and all the undead. I kept imagining running into a zombie or haunt in some of the really tight corridors. Can someone give me a little direction? Thanks.

The info about your friend is in the ground floor's right (east?) wing, in a room in a corridor near the treebeast yard.
Not sure about the crypt section, I think you have to pull a lever guarded by a haunt somewhere in the section but that's just from my memory.
[Edit]Loot collecting is the domain of Nightwalker but allow me just a little hint: look behind the banners...[/Edit]

I think I know what room you are referring to for the info on Garret's friend. Its
the one with the zombie sitting on the safe right?
I didn't go all the way in because I didn't have any fire arrows or holy water left. :tsktsk: As for the
lever by the haunt
I already found it, but it didn't extend the ladder. Is this a bug?

[another wild guess]If I remember right, if you do something, the door you came through should open again[/another wild guess]

I've been playing through all the thief1 missions that I downloaded a year or more ago and I'm down to two.
One is "Silent Nightmares" and the other is "The Secret Way"
I'm going to have to play "The Secret Way" which is no problem it's just out of the order I've been playing them in.
My problem and why I'm playing "The Secret Way" first is because when starting "Silent Nightmares" darkloader starts it with thief1 and then starts up baffords mission. Darkloader sees the mission as a thief1 missions and I know now that it's supposed to be a thief2 mission.
I have version 1.1 patched.
Does anyone know of a fixed patched version that darkloader will properly see as a thief2 mission or know how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. :D

1. Go into "setup" and under thief 2 directory put in the correct directory of Thief2.
2. Delete Silent Nightmares and re-download.
3. Delete darkloader and reinstall.
4. Delete the entire thing, Thief 1, Thief 2, Darkloader, and Silent nightmares and reinstall them all (not recommended unless really nessicary)
