Yawn, is it me or are AI getting easier and easier to kill. Course the pool was always helpful as a get away point from those arrows, but I just slashed through AI after AI as they came close to me "hiding" in the shadows. :ebil: :ebil: *hmm...maybe that taffer is over here...ouch...oh...hey...why do I hurt all of sudden...let me keep look..ing...arghhh!!!!* :ebil:
Btw, did you just completely reuse the original as there is no change to the brushes on the lower level. Nice re-texturing though. Oh, those haunts would have been more deadly to face higher up instead all of the AI ran down and I killed them all except for a few stray archers higher up...a couple of those were mighty sneaky to see up there so unexpectedly.
Anyway, thanks for the extra practice. :ebil:

UT2 started with UT1...I just kept adding brushes.
I toyed with the idea of having no shadows and did a bit of playtesting with that senario but it was a nearly impossible situation.
I also toyed with having lots of strobe lights and while a challenge it was mostly just damn annoying and no fun to play for more than a minute.
I think my next silly mission will be an elaborate obstacle course. A while back a few of us really got into "Run Thief Run" [ (
http://www.thief-thecircle.com/download.asp?fid=384) ] and kept trying to better each others times. A few of us were able to manage some
really insane times as we each discovered various shortcuts that were not really intended by the designer. It was a fun diversion from standard Thief but it only forced the player to be proficient in one skill set, movment through space. I've been toying with ideas that will necessitate proficency with all the diciplines.

This mission is perfect to work on your stealth for a bit.
Does anybody know where the 30 loot is?
I can't find the link here anywhere.
