I'll go back and look! I didn't see anything. Thanks.

I just went into that room again, there is nothing open, is it in that very room? With the golden bones? If it is, there is nothing open. Or I am really blind right now, playing when I am not feeling my best isn't helping either. :P

Yes, it is in that room. As you enter that room the center section of the wall on your left should look different, like a fresco almost. That is the panel that slides up. At least it did for me. I don't know if there are differences between difficulty levels but I was playing on Expert if that means anything.

I'm playing on hard, and you know, I figured that *fresco* as you called it, had to be it. Its still down. :( I went back, and checked, its down. I can't get through it. I'm done with it. Unless there is another way in, besides shooting the stone between the bars upstairs with the fire arrow. I'm done, bummer. Anyone else have another idea, besides going back to a previous save. Not gonna do it, the save is too early. Bummer.

BA : Did you drop the bones ? it will do nothing if that's how you did. You have to "use" the bones (like a key on a locked door). Go close to the sarcophagus with a bone, right-click to put it in the center of the screen. If you're close enough, you'll see an object ingame highlight (I think it's the sarcophagus, but is it something else???). Then right-click again to "use" the bone. Do the same for all the other bones and it should do it.
BTW, I'm writing all this from the top of my head. I'm not completely sure that it is the way to do it. It's just that I've made most of the interactive aspects in this manner in all my FM.
Good luck
2nd BTW, one doesn't have to make any precise jump to return on top of the broken bridge. One can jump-mantle on it on its left side (when returning, i.e. on the same side as the room with the sarcophagus)

Thanks for the reply RofB! I know its weird isn't it? And you know what, I did that!! I can't explain why its doing this?
The good thing, Tannar was sweet enough to send me a save, I didn't even ask him to, you sweetie Tannar. ;) I am on my way again, it did work this time. Still wish I knew what I did, or what happened, ah well.

I nearly missed this mission. Well worth playing - a few tricky bits and a nice selection of secrets.:thumb:

This mission i had to give the infamous 4 finger salute, due to the lousy design in the end with the super precise jump required to cross back over that lava river. I know i'm not the only one who has been having a problem with it cause there been at least 4 other people posting with the same problem, including the last post which noone has ever bothered to answer. Maybe there a trick back across i can't see, but the jump as far as i am concerned is impossible to make.
This definately violated one of my major aggravations with some mission designs, If i wanted to play jumpman or tomb raider I would load those games.
well there are at least two other ways to do this
first -
hop back over the lava using the broken bridge segmentsthen either
go fetch some crates and climb up the side of the bridgeor
go to the section of bridge nearest the lava and mantle up the broken sections that are stepped nicelydoubtless someone else has found another way
but there's no need for jumping at all

Esme :
Thanks for your good comments, but this FM is more a deception to me than something I'm pleased to have accomplished.
Indeed, this FM was built in 3 weeks. But the more I'm looking at it, the more I can't help but feel ashame... I should have spent a lot more time thinking about lots of details (architecure, game-play and puzzles wise). I feel it's almost like I had something to prove and I rushed to finish it. I didn't even took the time to make it pass a beta-test! Hence the flaws and some lame puzzles.
Same thing applies with my 3rd mission : The Curse. It was build in 3 or 4 weeks and to me, everything seems sparse, incomplete and a bit show-off. Note that I'm pointing what I think are the weakest aspects of those 2 missions I've built. I agree that there were some good aspects too, but that's not what I wanted to share here with you (or with any taffer interested enough to read my auto-critic!). All of you FM players are way better at finding good critics to my FM than I am! ;)
I'm a lot more proud of my fourth and last FM though (TIC) for which I've spent nearly a year of planification, building and testing. Anyway, I'm slowly drifting and going off topic, so I'll leave it there.
