You escape through the sewers.
Mary, I was stuck there too...
Look in the little closet next to the gate you can't open down in the sewers.
Thankyou Yandros and Thiefsie Fool.
Yes
I had opened that first gate and gone up the ladder. Tried to follow a girl through a gate but couldn't. Because I'm having a dimmer day than usual I forgot I had the lockpicks as I'd been up there earlier. Opened the door in the ground and went down into a cellar
. Thanks guys. I assume you are boys although Francine isn't a girl.

Finished with 100% loot. What a lovely little mission. Small but perfectly formed.

Being that there is only two hammer guards that patrol the mission, I opted to lock them in a cell and in Father Simeon's room, respectively, which left me free to roam. Of course there were the other two cells just in case there was more AI. ;)

Just finished. Great little mission. Nice work, Frank.

Same here. I was compassionate--ha--enough, though, to lay both keys near the jailer's cell, but he will have to reach for them.

Excellent work, Francine! At 686 KB, I was expecting a lot less from this mission than I got. A tidy little premise, economical (though not undetailed) design, open gameplay and meaningful difficulty levels. Any level that allows you to lock guards away is a good one. My proudest moment in "Shipping...And Recieving" was locking the giant spider in a security shed along with a guard (it's tricky but it's possible). Maybe someone should start a 'mission of the week' thread so we don't lose track of innocuous but excellent efforts like TCND. Although considerably larger, "The Royal Garmyth" falls into the same category.

Thank you. I limited myself to a 72 cubed space, which definately helped focus the mission. I also tried to not to go overboard with the custom objects and textures. I like seeing them in other people's missions, but I think there's a lot of potential in the original stuff (from both TDP and TMA), so I tried to take advantage of that.

Great little first mission! The lamp and the moisture was a nice extra touch.
I don't post here a lot (and when I do, my posts have a tendency of getting way too long, sorry about that), but I wanted to comment on a certain detail that I haven't seen before in a fan mission (nor in any of the original missions):
I think that you are the first to actually place something inside a barrel, thanks! I always look for loot inside barrels, and always get disappointed when they're empty. Maybe I'm the only one, but I think this should be done more often.
When do you release your next mission? :)
I managed to lock one of the guards up in a cell, that was funny (and a first for me)! I also managed to climb to the top of the outside area, looking down at the stars, but that was easy.
With this said I now continue with some nitpicky ramblings (be warned).
I have a little nitwit comment :ebil:
Where did the necklace in the sewer come from? How did it get inside a little room behind a door in a sewer? How many elegantly dressed ladies (or gentlemen for that matter) do you know that wanders about in sewers?
You don't have to take the above as any real criticism, I just asked myself this very question (as the nitwit I am).
Anyway, you are not the first to place loot in strange places. I might one day create a little mission about all those Thief-personae who accidentally drop loot 20 meters up in the air on a beam only accessible by birds (and Garrett).
The following may not be a real spoiler, but just in case someone wants to get all the food without hints.
Who placed that deer leg over the fire in the kitchen and then forgot about it?
I think these hammers need to get a new chef!
By the way, the sewer looked partly like the one in Bafford's mansion(?), did you borrow the design?

Just wanted to add my sincere appreciation and thanks, Frank! This was an extremely fun mission! :thumb:
As I've said before, I absolutely LOVE short, fun missions, and yours was very well done. I completed it the first time through on expert difficulty (all the loot) without needing any hints, and that makes me feel very .... thiefy-ish-like-esque!? ...WOO-HOO!
:) :) :)
