Everyone's right, this mission is fun. L'arsene may be my favorite mission of all time, and so far this is turning out to be a good way to end his story.
I've run into a problem though. I've been reading through the previous posts and haven't found an answer, although I didn't want to check too thoroughly because there's a lot I don't want spoiled, so if it's already been answered forgive me.
Anyway, How do I get those red balls to work? They don't seem to fit into the holes by the pictures. Do I need to flip some switch of find some key?

alright, so I've gotten [SPOILER]all the Keys, Stones, and the Heart...[/SPOILER]
I am in the caverns, and wondering if is there any way past the [SPOILER]large portcullis (gate) with the face above it? [/SPOILER]I see a note on the steps behind it, but can't get to it. Is it related to [SPOILER]the locked door on the ruined second story?[/SPOILER]

yep, looks like I went about it the wrong way?

MrMunkeepants: Very ingenious! :cool: I suspect that your route has caused you to miss 1 secret and 240 loot. ;)

I guess I'm stuck. This has been quite an enjoyable mission so far. Not too hard, not too easy. Anyhow, I've followed [spoiler] L'Arse into the Den caverns. I've gotten past the portcullis and defeated Bourrique.[/spoiler] Now I'm up past the stone head breathing red smoke in a little room with a couple of bone piles. Don't see what I should do next. A clue please?

Finished: 7:35, 305 loot shortage, 10/10 secrets. Should say this one is AWESAME, EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING mission. Great work Gaetane !!! :thumb:
Btw. is it possible to vote anywhere for best missions of the year ? If not, why don't do it ? Every period (year or so) we can nominate candidates and vote. Categories:
- the best mission overall;
- the best story, graphics, etc...
- the best FM author;
This way we can recapitulate played FMs and remember them...

Alright, as soon as I posted that, my better-half went and found what I was missing. Thanks folks anyway and please slap me around with a blackjack :laff:
