Can someone tell me where my lockpicks are in this mission. I really need them! I'm playing on expert.

You should have found them right near the beginning, Gloria.
It's in a room near the kitchen in the prison area. If you read the very first part of the (
http://thiefmissions.com/walkthroughs/TheDen.html) walkthrough it will lead you right to them without spoiling anything else.

I didn't see the walkthrough yet, but I also must say that I checked on 3 or 4 pages of this thread and didn't have the energy to walk though all of this thread replies :ebil:
I've allready get rid of all the guards with my BJ, apart from the 2 guards guarding a double door on the top of the mansion .......
So I should check out the first part of the mission? OK. I'm on my way now. Hopefullly I'll find it soon.

Hey I just played this mission for the first time and enjoyed it very much, but I was just curious if it's possible to kill L'arsene yourself instead of the statues doing it for you, and if it is possible what's the best way of doing it? I did try doing it myself quite a few times but I haven't quite mastered the whole sword-fighting thing yet and he kept killing me first :grr:

Yes, you can kill him by sword:
Just get rid of the other guards first by using your BJ. Then crawl in the shadows to a proper space to attack l'Arsene when you're walking behind him. Than make you move. If you strike him with the sword on his back, it has a greater impact.
He will turn around and start trying to kill you. Just keep hitting him on the side. Don't take any break. It's gonna take some time, but eventually you'll win. :ebil:
Dit you also play the other FM's of this campaign? THE DEN is the last of a 4-mission campaign.

Yes I did play the first three missions as well and enjoyed each of them just as much :thumb: I love campaign FMs and the L'arsene series is definitely one of the best!

I´m replaying this great mission again, but this time on "Expert" mode, i only need to find now the talisman of "Sight", i forgot where i found it last time, do you know where it is?
