Any ideas guys? I finished the first large building and things were mostly fine except for the Blackjacking problems and disappearing bodies. But I got the wrench and ended up in the area that this takes you too and there are huge areas with no furniture or anything on the walls. Kinda bland. The big Ballroom is furnished and full of people as well as the areas on the right of the map except for the round room and area around the top of the glass ceiling which has nothing I can see but I bump into it all. But when I start up the big stairs to the left of the Ballroom, there is nothing up there. I can see Thieves in the corners and on balconies but nothing else except shadows where furniture should be. When I walk through sometimes a carpet will appear under my feet but it doesn't sound like carpet. Is funny. I can even bump into the invisible furniture and then sometimes a piece will appear there as well. Some door textures are missing and often I can go right through doors. (Talk about a REAL Ghost) Then I reload and I can't go through them. Really odd. Am stopping on this on til I get it solved. Was comical at first but there is know doubt I am missing a lot.
I installed New Dark 1.21, all the visual runtimes are installed, I have an Nvidia 580 GTX with new drivers, I loaded T2 and did not set any screen resolution or hardware sound but just left the game as it loaded just to see what would happen. No help. Textures are still missing. Am betting this is something simple but I can't figure it. Have played a bunch of new dark FM's without this occurring. Help! :eek:

Strangely enough I end up with exactly
10902, so 1000 seem to be missing. When I checked in Dromed it seems that the large sack for the gold chest contains these 1000 but when I did the chest objective the sack disappeared from my inventory and the objective was checked, but I didn´t get any loot for it. Is this a bug with my installation? I am playing version 1.1 Does anyone had a similar bug?Sneak on 17/8/2013 at 15:35

Beltzer, thanks for the reply. I am using Darkloader 4.3. Last night I re-downloaded The Favour just in case I had some odd corruption in the files. No help. Am really just stumbling through the dark on this one.

Did you use Taffpatcher (w/newest "New Dark" add-on)? There are 2 versions. The newest works with everything. I hope this works, let us know.

OK I solved my troubles. Had nothing to do with the FM. I had two copies of T2, the original which I left as it was and one for New Dark. Seems my New Dark copy had something get corrupted. No idea what. I installed T2 again on a different drive and did all the updates and tweaks. All is well now. No idea why the problem only showed up on this FM so far but whatever the trouble was it was lurking and waiting to happen.
Nice FM, I had a bunch of fun with it. I finished it about 800 loot short. Got all the secrets but had to come here for help on 2. I need to make another run through this one. Thanks for The Favour! :thumb:
