Ok, taffers. try this one out for size.
Harlequin is a small, quick, and decidedly untraditional mission. I should have been working on Ladytaker, but Uncadonego started this thing going, and I got an idea stuck in my head. You know the story. Enjoy!
You can download it from the main thread: (

BriefingI was a kid. No parents, no home.
Running messages and picking pockets to keep my ribs from meeting my spine.
I certainly didn't have coin to spare for entertainment.
But the carnival was in town, and I wanted to go.
So one night, after everyone went home, I hopped the gate.
Time to have a little fun.

See (

are supposed to link to the official thread.

This sort of quirkiness is why I love these FM contests.
I really enjoyed this, Balboa! This needs to come to Universal Studios immediately.

brilliant little mission it was like a trip down "Memory Lane",seeing loads of different scenery, from thief past!...I must admit I really wanted to jump off and explore, and I swear that I could see a bag of gold behind some of the first mausoleums...are we able to get in there without being on the "Wurlitzer"?

An excellent little show, Balboa. Will we ever see a Deluxe version? The concept could carry it!

I agree - I had a really good time just relaxing and having fun with this mission and its technical effects. A deluxe version with more games and more scenes in the
'ride' sequence would be fantastic.
Either way, thanks!
