Thank you for this nice mission! I had much fun playing it.
I found only one of the sins hard to kill, Pride, because he didn't die from my first arrow although he hadn't seen me. All the others I have killed with one arrow or in a moment of surprise (for them or for me).

This was such a GREAT mission! THANKS!!!! Escpeccially for the Dewdrop dolly I found in the beginning! :thumb: :)
I really liked the
burning fires on the end!!!
:thumb:
The food on the floor in the last stage was also nice. I had enough health, but I really could've done the trick ....!
One remark: The "Sloth" objective didn't tick off when I ended the mission, so I couldn't end normally.
I didn't find much of loot though :erm: My mistake.
Go and make us an other one, Taffer !!! :thumb:

This is so frustrating because this really is a good mission. But it had exit problems for me too. The Sloth objective didn't tick off for me either and I also got an error message from Microsoft when I exited the game. Will there be an updated version of this mission?

Is there a way to go into Dromed and delete the Kill Sloth objective?
cavador_8 on 30/8/2006 at 04:20
Ok, I figured it out. I changed my Hidden Stone mission to exclude the Sloth objective. I was able to delete the objective 7 (killing Sloth) entirely and I made this 8 objectives instead of 9. I just tested it and it worked perfectly. I made it where you can kill Sloth or not kill her. She won't mess up the mission. The only thing that I can't fix is the microsoft error when exiting the mission. I'm not sure what is causing that.

I know, I know. This mission needs better (or some even) clues.
Just wait for Sloth, he's a pain in the whatsit.
Nah - it's perfect just the way it is. All quite logical with a bit of wandering around. It was short and sweet with lots of cool ideas and some nice looking architecture. I hope there's a sequel.
Nice touch with Lust in the bedroom and Gluttony feeding his face.
OK, I figured out that the Sloth objective not ticking off was most likely due to me not having the "convict.osm" file in my main Thief2 directory. I played the mission with it and the objective worked fine. I don't know how this file disappeared? I never installed the T2X shadows expansion pack.
Anyway, the only problem with this mission is the crash to the desktop after the last objective has been met. This error is a type 0xc000005 error. This is a memory access error that I only get with this fan mission. I never even get this error with any other games.
can't figure out where the stone is hidden. I used the treasure key on the crab but nothing was inside - help!!!!

It's
inside the spider chest on the altar. If that's the thing you was talking about, check your thief scripts. There is a TrigContains script involved and that might be broken in the non-patched version of gen.osm (I'm not sure about that though). Check out the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48202) Fan Missions FAQ how to do that.

I might have figured out what causes the microsoft desktop crash when completing this mission. The same thing happened to me on Mysterious Invitation. I then installed both the "GayleSaver's Custom Scripts" and the "Nameless Voices Scripts". Mysterious Invitation worked perfectly then and didn't crash. Maybe Hidden Stone will also not crash after these two custom scripts are installed into the main Thief 2 directory. So, making sure that you have the convict.osm file should prevent any objectives not ticking off and hopefully having these custom scripts installed should prevent any crashes when completing the mission.
