Having finished this very entertaining mission (suggested by Tannar for someone like me who loves (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147864) story development), I did have a question about the storyine. The murder appears to have been done by
"Darko", if I remember the name correctly. Does the storyline explain what happened to him? If I understand it right he was
masquerading as the assistant cook in order to poison the lighthouse keeper and then kill Anita, and there were ghost guards outside his room, but I don't remember ever learning anything more about him. Was he caught or killed? Were the ones who hired him caught or killed? Or did everyone get off scott-free and leave Garrett with the blame?

Good mission.
Beautiful design and texture work.
I liked the who-done-it, discovery game play.
Intelligent puzzles.

just replayed this and wow its truly amazing mission,along with "when still"

I'm replaying this one, but the mask vanishes when I pick it up.
Is there something I must do before I Pick it up ??? Maybe putting something on the shelves in the church?
I got the gem, but still the mask disappears.............

"Kingsbridge" from 2014 is probably the author's latest mission and it's really good. It's not on Thiefmissions but you can probably find it on other sites.

I only wrote down in my notes that one has to read a book lying on a pedestal or something like that, in the Room of Wisdom, before being able to take the mask from the church. I did not write anything about the mask vanishing, though.

I've already read the book in the room of wisdom, and read in this thread that it happened to somebody else, I think it's a glitch or something like that.... :( I remember I played it several years ago with no problem.
I also didn't get any candles for putting stuff in the chest in "my" room......... :(

You should try replacing your copy of gen.osm with (
http://www.thiefmissions.com/darkloader/ThiefScripts.zip) this one. I'm not sure this will fix it, but it's possible. Afterward, you might be able to just load a save but you may need to restart the mission.
