Dang! Could have sworn I've seen this before. Another personal myth busted. Guess I'm running out of excuses for finding this jump tough. It's my graphics card. Yes, that's it, my graphics card distorts the view to a left tilt and I have to compensate. I just got so used to it I forgot to mention that.

Could the difficulty in making these jumps be explained by computer speed (i.e. frame rate)? I know that in some games (Quake series in particular) wonky character movement physics is heavily tied to the frames per second of the rendering. Does the dark engine suffer the same limitation?

I have got as far as the room
with the button and secrete with the medi kit,and fire ball. I have to get up to the door in the South. I just can not get up there tried mantling?.
I got the two jars by mantling up the sloping wall at the side
Reading a couple of the posts. I can not find how to do it. :sweat:
I have not missed the pillar room have I?.

That is the pillar room, but I suspect you haven't found the button which causes an eartjquake and makes the top half of the central pillar to fall down. Then you'll be able to jump across to the upper southern ledge.

I've just realised that my jump problem is inability to locate the "sweet" spot to jump from. That edge is hard to distinguish when you are running.
I now set up for the jump by dropping a grenade right on the edge then taking three steps back and adjusting my angle of view so the grenade is just right of screen centre:

ffox: A marker eh? Not a bad idea. When I first read your post I had the crazy idea you meant somehow the grenade explodes and throws you higher in the air as you leap over it giving you a power boost for the price of taking a few hits! :eek: That would make a nice poster for when they make the movie out of this mission.

I had a lot of fun in the mask room while working on this mission, by making the block very lightweight. At that time, you could actually climb up on top of it (had to nix that as it caused frequent SHAS), and if you dropped a grenade next to it, when it went off both you and the block went flying up to the ceiling. Then you died when you hit the ground, but it was fun. :joke:

When I got to
The Water fall.Instead of jumping across I went in the water found the loot around the Monkeys.Lookin Below is the start of the mission.
Now I can not get out!. I can not get to the other side of the Water fall
Or mantle. I can not figure it. Unless I should have jumped it first. I don't want to loose that Loot!.
