Clock: There are backup generators that power the street lights and the apartments.
Disable the apartment generators, check its main power cable for any weaknesses.

I'm not sure what exactly to do...I tried whacking power cables and dowsing them with water, with no effect. Are we talking about the main power room with blueprints on the back wall, or the individual generators located in separarate houses.Clock on 2/5/2008 at 16:39
I found out what I did wrong....
I stopped the water wheel then rushed over to fetch the mirror, but noticing that the lights remained on. Predictably, I died when I picked up the mirror.
I forgot the middle process of disconnecting the main generator.
