Assuming you have your room key, check other rooms / floorsOk, either I was too impatient or I was hitting a bug,
because the receptionist didn't give me a key before. Now I have a key to room 909, which does NOT open the door of room 909. Is this normal?

Just at the start of this fm , i take my key and go in the elevator.
The door close and ...
i am stuck forever in that elevator.
If there's a switch to open the doors somewhere i managed to miss it entirely , in that case cure me of my stupidity with a screenshot of that button.
If it's a glicth , what could be the problem ?
I searched but haven't found anyone else with the same problem.
thanks for any help.

There is nothing there. Just one of possible places where the mirror can be.

sexypat, you found the table in labyrinth? Possible the mirror can be on the table.

incal: IIRC, you just get in the elevator, push the button of the floor you want, the doors then (I think) close, you go up & the doors open at the floor required. I don't remember any way of simply opening the doors (though I can't remember that part of the mission precisely).
If that doesn't work, it could be one of those random, seemingly-incomprehensible glitches that turn up occasionally.
Perhaps re-start the game. If still no joy, you may have to d/l another copy of the FM.
Maybe someone else can think of a work-around?

I need a little help here. Been trying for half an hour to jump from my hotel room window to the ledge across the street, but no luck. 90% of the time Garret gets stuck in the window (although there is absolutely nothing there that would stop him from moving forward, he moves backwards but not forwards), and the rest of the time I just fall down to the street. Any hints?
