Haplo: if that's the ledge I'm thinking of, there's another way of getting on - look for wooden stairs a bit to the east.

incal: are there TNHSCRIPT.OSM and NVSCRIPT.OSM files in your Thief folder? Check please. Maybe Darkloader haven't unpacked them correctly. Try to 'install' original Thief II from DarkLoader and then install 'The Mirror' again.
The other possible reason may be your OS. Do your play under Windows XP or something else? Vista may cause problems with custom scripts.

After 5 or so attempts at various levels of difficulty, I finally nailed it! On Hard! Phew!
I knew there was no way I was getting through the Cop Shop guards without killing. If my humble advice is worth anything, it would be better to remove the un-blackjackable helmets and replace that difficulty with a loot requirement...
Thank Yew, Clearing!
Just one question. The music playing while in the Electric Works. It was in a movie, I am certain of it. It's driving me crazy - it's on the tip of my brain! Some science fiction film....

I would be happy to answer a question about music, but can't remember ANY music from the place I suspect you to call 'Electric Works'. Please call it how it called in game (or explain it's location in other way), so I would be able to understand and to answer.
