T2 FM: The Mirror (April 24, 2008)

Thanks for the help. For the mirror, I've looked in:
Amber room
Frob's basement
Alchemist basement in Frob's
Sanctuary (got the BJ easter egg)
Glazier's prison area
Clegg's basement
Clegg's attic
and all over every nook and cranny of the map. Is there some hidden switch or something that I'm missing?

Stoat, there are 3 proper places:
1. Alchemist basement in Frob's
2. Sanctuary
3. Clegg's attic
You can't miss the Mirror in the 1. and 2. (if you are not completely blind), so I think you destination is 3.
On the attic find the wall with the painted cross and walk along this wall. You will find wooden table with the Mirror on it.

Thanks Zontik. I don't know how I missed that. I searched that attic several times, found the X and the window, but never ran accross the table. Great mission.

When you get into the Glaziers', look for a generator (near the kitchen), & check it thoroughly.

Or other variant: you may make Key to Sanctuary.
Pick up multimold. Put it in the notch on the metal machine and push the button.

I don't have quite as much experience with Garrettloader/DarkLoader but know my way around software/hardware in general, so feel free to outline any suggestions. :)

The codec is installed, I found it in the compressed FM file, along with the readme. :thumb:

We did try DarkLoader at one point but it complained that the FM's were in use (probably by GarrettLoader). We uninstalled g/l but it seemed to make no odds to the problem.
I'll try it again though.

Any further help appreciated. It's being made worse by you lot all telling her what an excellent FM it is! :devil:

I have found 5 secrets, the 3 keys and I have gone through the emerency exit uo to the roof, but I can't find the mirror or the "labyrinth" in Clegg's attic.

Could I get a hint on where the labyrinth is?

Pity I've never used GarrettLoader so can't imagine the source of a problem. But I suggest you one 'extreme' solution.
1. Uninstall all Thief II FMs. (In Dark Loader it means to 'install original Thief'.)
2. Make separate copy of whole original Thief II folder. *It will take you about 750 Mb of free space!*
3. Unpack Mirror.zip into that new folder manually.
4. Start Thief2.exe to play The Mirror.
If you are still not able to play, your ZIP file is probably corrupted.
5. Delete this 'dublicate' folder after playing.
