Ok, I am stuck. (Well, dead and stuck to be precise, and have to restart the mission...never save when you hit a bug and are having Garrett collapse in random agony on the cobbles. :P)
But, anyway, I have (or will, when I catch up to myself!) the red key. I've been into the alchemist's rooms, and into the basement room thats off there. I've been into the safe/vault thingy, and found the secret door out of there. I've been into the attic. I also found a hidden glaziers uniform, though it was not frobbable. I've been all through Clegg's house, and out the emergency hatch. I found Clegg's diary (had to kill the guard in there because his patrol was just too short for me to get around him in time. *grumbles*), and found the dungeon area. But nothing else but locked doors. I have also found the glazier's hideout, but can't get through the gate.
Reading through the hints here, I see I'm still supposed to get into Frob's study. . .but I can't find the entrance. I've been all over the place that I can find and unless I"m missing a switch somewhere, I'm stumped.
There does appear to be an area -behind- the house, but I can't get to it. There's a gate blocking the street where the Glaziers are, and a gate at the side of the house (where a mad guard keeps trying to get me, even if I've been -way- on the other side of the map for the last half hour?!) but neither gate appears to have a switch to open. I've seen the place under the basement (seen it, not been in it. . .) but can't find anything else of any particular interest in the basement, or the alchemist's room.
So. . .I am stumped! Help, please? Thanks.
Interesting mission, though. Hard - I actually had to drop down to normal difficulty and thats unusual for me. lol I'm not sure if I'm missing clues or just not understanding the ones I have. I think it would be a bit better if the English translation was polished a bit, there are a few places I have to actually read the text a few times just to figure out what its trying to say, never mind picking up clues. But over all its a fun mission. Very challenging.

**Edit** Never mind. Typically, I found my way into the elusive study -after- I posted. After spending 3 hours last night without so much as a sliver of a clue. . .it now gives me some direction with which to take. Although Clegg's place is still not coughing up anything interesting.

Well I am trying to finish this FM, but need some help.
I've read through dozens of pages of this thread until my eyes glazed over but it looks like i must get into glaziers for the next part of the mission, but i must read something in frob's study, otherwise i get blasted with firearrows at the glaziers entrance. I am assuming frob's study is the locked door opposite the bedroom with the woman in it with her blue dress as a secret. How do i get into frob's study? please no hints, just a straight answer. Thanks

You need to go back outside and climb up on the gate between Clegg's place and Frob's. There's an archer up there you'll have to get by. But once you're by him, climb up on the battlements and there's a ledge along the white house (right across from the main door into Clegg's. Thanks Elentari! Like you I 'worked' it out after i got chased by a guard and ended up above the gate and when i looked at the ledge and balcony it all fell into place.
OK mission 'complete'. One of the more difficult/frustrating missions out there, very challenging indeed, but one i won't forget. This ranks up there with "Resurgance: The Ancient Crown" also a difficult FM too.
After you wear the blue disguise whenever you use weapons like the sword or blackjack, your hand shows your disguise too, which is a nice touch and attention to detail.
I suspect there are many secrets i haven't yet found in this FM, but i'll leave them for another day. I am still trying to work out what on earth this FM is all about. In any case well done Zontik. :cheeky:

HELP! I can't find the mirror! I have been in all parts of the sanctuary, all over the attic at Cleggs (followed the X-marked wall to find two tables - saw the guy in blue here which I'm guessing is a glazier), cut the power at the power plant, went through the sanctuary and the attic with lights on and lights off and still cannot find the taffing mirror! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Zontik - Great mission! Frustrating as hell but I'm loving it! Nice concept and execution.

The location of the
mirror varies everytime you play the FM. Have you tried the alchemists lab in Frob's house? This is the room with the metal door on the ground floor. Once there check the rooms carefully.Tannar on 3/8/2008 at 01:53
Thank shadows - forgot I hadn't been to the vault yet so couldn't get into the alchemist's lab. Found the mirror there!
Finished 500 short and 6 secrets (didn't bother trying the beam in the sewers. Was tired of jumping and mantling!).
All around good fun though!:laff:

Its kinda annoying how you can be stucker than stuck. . .-finally- break down and ask for help, only to stumble across the answer. . .after your request is already posted, naturally.
But yeah, finally finished. Hooray! Still not entirely sure what the modern part of the story at beginning and end had to do with anything, but I think I got most of the story of the mirror itself. More or less. :)
I think I got most of the stuff to find. But I did not find the attic in Clegg's place, and whatever went with that. There's one door I was not able to get open in that same house. (Well, 2, but there was another way into the second one) Though apparently I didn't need it or I wouldn't have finished.
Great job on the mission, though. It was fun, even though it was frustrating. :)

I have been all over Frob's - got the Red key, etc. I can not get into Frob's study. I walked on the ledge outside the balcony, I've been in Frob's attic, but I can not get in - it is not marked cabinet onmy map, it's just blank. Could somebody spell it out?
