Have not played so can't help you. Unless some hotdog has already or Christine stops by you might have a wait for help. :D

Howdy!
Not really looking for help, just confirmation :) I've finished the first mission, A Shopping Walk, but am over 2000 short of the loot total. There were tons of places I could see up high, including a tempting rooftop garden and two separate balconies, but could never figure out a way to get to these places. And of course, lots of houses/buildings with unfrobbable doors.
Are we supposed to only see and not touch, or am missing something incredibly obvious?
As alwasy with Christine, the architecture is gorgeous!
Cheers!

By the way, in the readme Christine has a website listed for this...if you speak German or don't mind running it through a translator, there's what looks like a complete walkthrough of all the missions. The website is (
http://www.zinkchristine.de.vu) if you don't feel like checking the readme ;)

Thanks for the tip, Shaz. I ran the walkthrough through Babelfish and found the missing loot. Oh my! I'd forgotten how clever Christine is at hiding things and how very fond she is of little coins :) I'm going to have to be much more thorough at Lord W's... :thumb:
Cheers!

shadow :use the walkthrough yes i know after tanslating its still crude, but i'm slowing translating it fully so even i can fully understand without getting confused, but i can give you part from walkthough which tells of what you need. but you may have missed a lot to this point. .
leave the laboratory. The monastic church --Go back to the input area and open now the doppeltuer. You are now in the church.The Hohepriesterin has the key for the two secondary rooms with him, opens both areas, leaves the doors untouched openly. We need now only the holy hammer of the designer. Leave the church room and go to the left, opposite the statue is a window. At the column right a small switch is, operates it, it opens the window. In the small area behind it the hammer lies
hopefully that helps a little but does give some bearing, i cut out loot on way of course. sry, bout being crude but i havent finish correcting this part of the walkthrough into perfect english.
Melissa in shopping walk there are rope arrows and some balconies you have to rope up too to get loot, and lots of secret areas in which loot resides. i only by passed some coins and a bad of spice, too hard to find so i left em .
or you can do like some of us and slowly decript the walkthrough lol, anyways, i'm getting them done, after learning what some of the untranslateable words, by playing through it, then goin and translating text, i should have all translated by monday or tuesday. i'll keep watch for those who dont want to read the walkthrough before playing a section. in each mission grab and frob everything never know what you might find, lol.

Where's a damn way to get
into the secret room under the stairs in the huge library in the 2nd mission?
Plus i can't find the
scroll i need to complete one of the objectives!
I've been trekking back and forth looking for that damn scroll and now i'm fed up looking for it! :mad:
Maybe it's
behind the secret door under the Library stairs?
Sluggs :thumb:
PS. I liked the spooky contents of the
childrens room!
@sluggs
Yes, the scroll is in that secret room. To open the room you just have to look around in the library REAL close ( and then of course use what you find *g*)
This is in the first mission, A Shopping Walk.
Anyways, enough about the bashy door that gives off little particles like you can break it down but can't ( :grr: )...
How do I get into the Chief's Room? I can't find a key or trigger, and I've spent many, many looooong minutes searching that area and I'm coming up empty.
I'm hoping that will trigger something along the lines of how to get into Wellhofer's Mansion. I'm stuck at it too. I got to what I think is the front door with two little fenced off areas to each side, but I can't find a way in. :(

@hit
As for the City Guard, theres a little switch at one of the bookshelves in the room with the guard sleeping at the desk. This will open a secret place behind the banner, the key is in there. The Wellhofer entrance is the one with the (single I recall) guard in front and the "LW" banner. You can switch off the lights at the milman's if you want. Once you got rid of the guard the door should just open by frobbing it, it's one of the "giant port" doors I believe
Oh, the buglist for this one is long!!!
I'll start with misaligned textures on some shelving, a missing eave on a building, several ambients (and not just the bell toll) play repeatedly and seem inappropriate, no AIs in an area then all of a sudden there are a dozen all walking in single file with civilians on same patrol route as guards (wuzzup with that?), the list goes on, but gets increasingly niggling after that... Those are enough, and this is just for A Shopping Walk.
Still nice to play though. :thumb: In that case, I'll wait for the patched version.
