In the crypt, just kill all the vampires. I've done it with most health. The trick is to pick them off 1 at a time. When they turn into a bat back off and hit them with a broadhead arrow from a safe distance.

Hello everyone

I have the newest version of Darkloader and it could not run this FM; I presume this means the file is corrupted. Do Thief Fan Missions often get corrupted when loaded across a network (in this case, my brother's computer and mine)? Should I download with something other than IE? This also happened to me with Durant.

When I try to open the Night Falcon, Darkloader just crashes.

Or is it possible that my computer is just too slow? (celeron 400, 96mg ram, 16mg TNT2)

BTW: I love the work this community here is turning out. All the missions I've played are absolutely brilliant!! I have spent so many hours sitting in front of the puter playing these missions. It was a good thing to discover this forum and the fms. :thumb:

A mission is just a zip file, so you can run your favorite zip file tester to be certain that the file is busted. You can also make sure it has the proper length (175947424 bytes according to thiefmissions.com).

If you do have an incomplete download, you might be able to use a download manager to resume the download for you. Otherwise you might try BitTorrent; I'm still seeding it, and I believe that it will actually repair a file that's corrupted by downloading the incorrect pieces. Well, I've just completed the last mission of the series with one measily health point left.

My hat is absolutely off to Christine and her co-conspiritors for producing this 7 mission series. All 7 were truly awsome works of art by themselves, but intertwining them together like chapters in a book to make a complete story just blew my socks off!

I could go on, and on about all the innovation that went into this to bring us things never before seen in Thief. The genious and talent!

Absolutely Phenominal! The time, effort, and piece of your life you give up to give life to these missions must be a labor of love. You folks ought to be getting paid to do this, honestly.

Not even close to being the oldest, Viper6. :cheeky: I know a number of people up in their seventies who are here fairly frequently and at least one member who's over 80, though he doesn't visit the forums very often.
