Folks:
I'm hurtin' here! On a PIII 700 and Radeon 9500 Pro with fresh boot, my framerate in Mysterious Tower is nearing 1 a second as I get toward the end of the mission. It seems as though it begins as one nears the Church of the Hammerites and progressively worsens as one moves through that area and beyond. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a workaround to it?
Danke!

I guess this is the "Night Falcon ghosting discussion" rather than the Night Falcon Help thread.

I really liked this mission, but to get around most of the vampires it required alot of work. The new creature creation was a good idea( vampires and bats). The snow was "COOL".

hi all!!
how are you???...i was doing quite fine myself actually, untill some 20 minutes ago!!..
i was playing this awesome mission, the second level in particular..
however, after i completed all the objectives and headed for the main entrance..something didn't seem to work that well...the level just isn't ending!...i'm really sure that i've completed all the objectives and that i really am at the main entrance...(i even checked this out with the help of a walkthrough!)..
so now..the question is....how the *#%* do i get out of there!!
:tsktsk:

If you're quite sure you've completed all your objectives and you're at the right spot to end the mission, it's possible you've hit some sort of bug. I'd suggest just using "Ctrl+Alt+Shift+End" to complete the mission and go on to the next one. :)

This has got to be one of the greatest missions that I've played. On the last mission I play just a few minutes into it;after a fresh re-boot; and it crashes to my desktop. I've come this far only for it to behave in this strange way. Has anyone else been suffering from this bug??? My "equipment" P4 1.5 mgh CPU
655 Rambus memory
570k free Conventional memory
GeForce 3 64 Mbs with all latest drivers Ver 45.23s
Win 98-SE (all with latest updates and drivers)
I have gone back and re-downloaded the mission; thinking it was a bad download; and played all through to the same point in the last mission during "The Brotherhood of the Falcon" mission and then CRASH. It is an unfortunate end to a great mission which should be in the top 10 to have.

Suggestion for "Crashing" problems. Kill your screensaver, if any. Stop all background activities except Scan reg, Explorer, any Power profiles, and Task manager.
Use CTL-ALT-DEL and stop them all (Win 9 users).
Clean out all the TEMP files.
Then start the game.

Great fanmission campaign so far:D
But I'm already stuck. In Mission 1 (A shopping Walk)
I play on normal and completed 3/4 objectives, but I can't find the estate of Lord Wellhofer. Can anyone tell where it is:confused:
Go back to the market place to the left and go into the dairy products shop. On a shelf there are some gold coins, be sure to check the rest of the house. Exit and stay to the left and slip into the garden through the gate to your left. Search the garden well. You should also find a switch to turn the lights off in front of Welhofers. Go back to the market place and up the ramp, right click to open the gate to lord Wellhofer's and go in.
