T2 FM: The Night Falcon (Sep. 4, 2003)

1 minute into the mission and I'm stuck already... can't find my equipment.
The only things I've found are some arrows:

- The chest under the stairs
- The chest at the end of the secret tunnel connecting the two gardens
- The water arrows in the kitchen bucket and sink

I suppose I need to get up to the attic which is clearly visible from the outside, but there don't seem to be any holes in the ceiling, or ropeable locations.
The only other thing I noticed is that in the living room, the wall with the painting seems to be a bit closer than the wall in the hallway, but I've found no switch to open it.

Any tips?

Yes [spoiler] Return to the kitchen, enter the fireplace and climb the chimney. At the top right throw the switch.

Climb down about halfway and FROB the panel in the wall. Enter the attic. In a compartment in the floor is some more of your tools. In a panel in the far wall from the chimney is a compartment.

Also everybody in the immediate area from your house to the arch IS A FRIEND. They will cause you no trouble unless you show a weapon OR GET CAUGHT THIEVING.

So you can rob the Pub, and pick pockets in safety. UNLESS YOU ARE SEEN DOING SO.

Also, take ALL the foodstuffs you find. They will "heal" you.[/spoiler]

Here's a new one for me. I finished all the objectives in mission 2. I'm at the main gate and the mission won't end. Hope I don't have to trash the whole thing as this is a lot of fun. Any suggestions?

You may have hit a bug. It's always possible. If you've completed all of the other objectives, just hit "Ctrl+Alt+Shift+End" and the mission will finish. Then you can continue on to the next one in the series. :)

Great fm so far, nice architecture and idea. Kudos to the chef/creator.

I, too, have not been able to finish the second mission after collecting all objectives. I am just wondering if maybe I am in the wrong place? Is the main gate by the small building where the scarecrow in the garden is?

You need to [SPOILER] walk to the front foyer of Lord Welhofer's house (S) and out the double doors. You'll be in a courtyard with a fountain in the middle. The main gate is the door at the far side of the courtyard, past the fountain. [/SPOILER]

al-Samarqandi, it isn't just your machine. I am on a 3.4GHz P4 with 512MB ram and a Radeon 9800 pro and my framerate drops to like less than one frame per second there as well, but only near the end of the mission after I have made it to the bracelet objective. What I did to make it doable is I went back while it was moving fine and knocked out all guards that way once I became helpless due to the bug I was still able to finish. Hope this helps..

PS Don't save when you are actually inside of the tower part or inside of the ending tavern. This made me crash to desktop whenever I tried it. Good luck
