I am in the Lord Wellhofer mission of the series. I opened the door to the children's room and
was beaten to death by a rocking horse. I had to laugh about that! Does anyone know of a way to deal with the teddy bears and the rocking horse? I tried my sword and both the rocking horse and a teddy bear attacked me at once. I didn't want to use too many water arrows dousing the light if at all possible. I did try to use a fire arrow at them just to see what would happened and the game crashed to desktop.Try unlocking and re-locking the doors to the nursery quickly so you only need to face one at a time.
To be honest, I've never been sure of the best way to get rid of the possessed toys other than to face them one at a time.

I've found the best way is just to sneak through that room. You only need to use a water arrow on the fireplace, I believe, to darken it enough to creep around the edges undetected.

Err yeah, I kinda forgot that part.
I'm also partial to unlocking the doors, running in, grabbing everything, running out, and resealing doors.
If that fails, I grab a little a time, reseal the doors, and come back later. Fighting the poltergeist really gets tedious.

Thanks for the info. I ended up using a water arrow on the fireplace and the lamp to get it dark enough so I could sneak around.
When the rocking horse came at me that first time, I backed out of the room and shut the door and it came through the door after me!

Knowing that folks are giving fan missions I cover a try is awesome! The whole purpose of my thread is to help folks get a feel for the missions and to get them more exposure and I'm thrilled its working for some! Thanks to the both of you for giving this mission set a shot - I seriously doubt you will be disappointed.
:D

Thats great! Christine is a master of fun thief gameplay - Look up any of her fan missions if you enjoy this series - Namely "Pirates Ahoy!" and "Lord Ashton Series".
