Uncadonego, very good mission. I am curious if you have seen "IT Crowd"? It's a show from England, and one of the voice acting parts, where the girl is complaining about being patted on the butt reminded me of it.

No, I haven't seen that show, and that girl complaining about the smack on the butt isn't a girl, it's me.:o
Glad you liked the mission though....

Really excellent FM, Uncadonego, thanks for that.
I though the beginning was SOO hard that I was on the verge of binning it and starting something else, but after I managed to just edge past that guard in the second room, I was hooked.
One criticism: the lockbox containing the
Boss' bedroom key
was so non-obvious as to be irritating. After I'd solved the main problem pertaining to that room, to be faced with a hunt-the-pixel clue seemed a bit unfair, unless there was a readable I'd missed?
uncadonego on 30/3/2007 at 02:45
If I ever make an update, I'll put a readable about the key in the lockbox. :erg:
I'll put it....right next to the obvious lockbox with the key in it.

Well, maybe it was just me, but it was a teeny tiny little lockbox, sitting on a dark desk between two large non-frobbables. I didn't think it was obvious at all. I did a sweep of that room twice after I'd opened the safe with the dingus, and didn't see the lockbox. *shrug*
uncadonego on 31/3/2007 at 20:10
Well, I was really only half joking, but those aren't non-frobbable objects on that desk. They are part of the desk object from the OM's, and the lockbox does hilight from seven feet away, and it is the only object in the whole room, but no matter. Something can always be missed at any time in the course of a game. One game I played once, there was an obvious button ( I think it was a button) but I hadn't closed the door, so the open door blocked my view of it. C'est la Thief....;)

Lotta fun playing this one again. Forgot where most of the secrets were so had to do a lot of reading and exploring. As an experienced taffer, I don't usually miss entire areas of missions these days, but entire apartments are so naturally hidden in this level it takes some detective work to find them. The ledge hopping is another thing that makes the mission special.

Some one fill me in on the ending?
After a HD change, I've reinstalled T2 and didn patch it again before playing this. After going round and round for hours wondring why my 'destroy the machine' objective wouldn't tick, I now think I have to restart the mission, even after patching. Life's just too short I'm afraid.....:bored: .

I'll fill you in on the beginning....
The read me warns you to make sure you have patched Thief before you play.

Thought it was patched.
Ah well, one for the bin....
