It's close to there. From the tower with the levers if you carry on down the passage you come to a circular room with a hole in the wall (accessible from elsewhere) and a ramp up to the gate I'm talking about. Is that any clearer?

I've never found a way in there, either. I hope someone can tell you how, so I can try it too! :)

Man this was a strange level.

I grabbed Merrilee and put her down on the steps away from the pig creatures. She got up and ran away, climbing the ramp and disappearing. I swam underwater, thinking I would meet her at the exit. The reason I didn't take her with me is because I was stupid and didn't anticipate her running away. Anyway, I continued to the end, mopping up anything that would pose a danger, then went back in search of Merrilee.

I could not find her. Where did she go ? And I hope it wasn't that completely weird room with the giant masks.

I've heard of this happening before and I don't know if it's possible to find her again or not. It's best to leave getting her until you're all done with everything else in there, so you can go straight to the exit. Maybe Twisty will come along with some suggestions about where she might be.

I had the same problem. No matter how many times I restarted and left her somewhere else she disapeared. Even tough I had cleared the outside of all AI when you rescue her more appear so you have to re-clear the area. But I loved this mission!!

I ended up calling it a "forced victory" for me though.
