Edit: And you didn't even bump it to ask a question...

Nothing gets re-posted; you'll notice that the post dates haven't changed. The old thread just never gets deleted. When (for whatever reason) someone decides to add something to it, its position in the search order changes. We call this thread resurrection or somesuch, and its generally frowned upon because it confuses the heck out of people who don't check the dates and think the old messages are really new.
I'll ask if we can't get some sort of color change or other marking on the old portions of undead threads.

Which door does the "tomb key" open? I was hoping it was to the Sir Hytheance's gates but, obviously not. Trying to avoid redoing jumping the squares with a heavy object in hand. :)
Nightwalker on 5/11/2004 at 15:19
If I recall correctly, Sir Hytheance's tomb is
the one where you hop across the tiles floating in acid. Is that right? And at the end you have to get through the trapped corridor? If that's the right one, the gate opens by frobbing a torch up there so no need to go back the hard way.
I must admit that I don't recall anything labelled a "tomb" key. Where did you find it?
Ottoj55 on 5/11/2004 at 15:25
i entered the same way you did, the pressure plates are just a nice way of getting out without having to get wet.
joanieS on 5/11/2004 at 15:31
The tomb key was in the park area on one of those black robed people. So, you're saying this key only works on something inside the tomb and I STILL have to do the jumping thing again? How could I have forgotten that jumping thing from the last time I played this. Drats!!!! :grr:
Nightwalker on 5/11/2004 at 17:58
I honestly don't have a clue what that key does. You DO have to jump across those tiles in the acid pool, though, to get into that tomb but not to get out.

which key are we talking about? i just played this mission. and i'm sure i can dump dromeds resources to find its door if you need. as for the acid puzzle, there's a torch switch i think that lets you out, save lots in that room.
