T2 FM: The Seven Shades of Mercury (Hammerite Imperium #1) - 20 May 2009 - by Yandros

I thought those two gold team members were beautifully behaved. I got behind the machinery, fired the noisemaker arrow at the far wall and off they trotted. When I came round the next time, I picked the noisemaker arrow up again, fired it towards the crates and off they obediently trotted again. I was so impressed. :laff:
Yandros, re: the readables. I think it would be a great shame if the glory that is Exam1 is missed by those who are downloading a patch. Is there anywhere it could go so they can see it?

Finally, FreddyFox has found the reason why
St. Excantium's door in the cathedral won't open. We should have updated ZIPs posted tomorrow, and may also offer a single file to download to "patch" the ZIP so you don't have to download the entire thing again.
Great! One question remains... Will we have to start the entire level from scratch to get it to work or will a save from before
firing the arrow into the keyhole work as well?

Hmm...no cats on the beta team, eh? :p;)
Plenty of them -
but cats hate water and don't like getting their feet wet! :D

Epithumia, thanks for the hint about the silver icon. But the silver team leader is not carrying anything, and is unfrobbable if I knock him out with a special mine.
I think what may have triggered this is that I hit him with an ice bomb earlier. He's thawed out now but, as things stand, the game is unfinishable.

:laff: Seriously, kudos to the whole team! This mission is incredible.
Haven't you seen a tiger swimming? And, I had a tabby that loved to take showers with me! :o

I've just tested this with the same result. So for now, fellow taffers, do NOT ice bomb the silver team leader.

No, you'll have to start over I'm afraid.

I'll try to fix this as well tonight if I can figure out how.
Nickie: We can include the fixed book text in the updated ZIPs, yes. I'm not sure about the patch as it will be a little trickier to make sure it gets into the right folder inside the ZIP for everyone.

Finished but I didn't find a single secret. Achievement in itself I think.

Dear folks,
I know that what I'm going to tell you is going to disappoint you, but ...
I didn't like this mission. I think I have the right to say it because I've been waiting for all these years.
I learned the following lessons:
1. I will NEVER make my future missions so hard...
2. I will NEVER make my future missions so boring...
3. I will NEVER make folks here to wait for so long before seeing a disappointing FM.
A mission can look visually good, but does it matter, when I don't like the way I'm forced to play?
Sorry, friends... I completely lost my interest to the campaign. I loved Thief2X. I loved CoSaS. But I can't say the same for this FM.
Resetting my Thief 2 to original settings and I'll continue working on my own FMs (especially T2G), a bit sad, because I expected something different. I hope that when I wake up tomorrow I will feel better.
Regards,
Svetoslav Alexandrov
