What... your run out of your nine lives then :laff: :cheeky:
Thief is gracious to me - it gives me
ten lives to play with. ;) That doesn't stop me blowing them all away by telling bad Yo' Moma jokes to the Haunts, or jumping down from the belltower without a rope.
But back to the mission - I've found a section in the acedemy building that I can't access from anywhere. It's directly above the entrance room to the Grand Library. Any thoughts on this? Can I get in there?

Fantastic mission. Quite awesome in design and puzzles. Kudos to all involved in its creation.
Where is the key to the Grand Library?

OK, I need a hint for the white icon. I'm pretty sure they are lockpicks, and I've seen a pair on top of a door, but they are not frobbable.
I've found every icon but this one. Help please!

1. I will NEVER make my future missions so hard...
2. I will NEVER make my future missions so boring...
3. I will NEVER make folks here to wait for so long before seeing a disappointing FM.
Too bad you feel that way. In my opinion CoSaS is much harder then this FM, only the basement is a bit hard, but not impossible. Mission X was too well lit in some places, which made ghosting very hard.(where I am now, I haven't met the Black Team yet, so maybe it will be much harder.)
I can understand you find the story of CoSas and other FM's better, that is one of the minor points of this FM. It has beautiful readables, the original concept is brilliant, but some things would really add to the FM. (For example an AI that triggers a trap, without you luring him into it. Or more attacks from the teams. Or more observation readables.) The teams were a bit too... patrolling then playing a graduation 'game'. The story is good enough, but not the strongest point of this FM. But in my opinion certainly not boring.
We have waited long for this FM, but I'm not disappointed. The design is stunning, and I actually can't believe they only needed 187 MB to make this. I have not finished it yet, because I have to look ten minutes in every room at the architecture.
Let's hope you still enjoyed some parts of this mission. And that you will like the sequel. (I don't care what you say authors, I DEMAND a sequel!)

Hint:
Where is the other spot that the Purple Team has captured?Bigger Hint:
Look in the upper most part of the Cathedral tower. Bring rope arrows with you!

PotatoGuy, you are now officially TaterCat. :laff::thumb: That's the way I went, too.
Getting up the waterfall is easy. Just go into the water stream and walk up at the very edge of it to the left or right then mantle up at the top. I was zoomed in to study the surroundings & saw the rope arrows. I figured that was the way I was supposed to go. :ebil:
I'm honored! :cheeky: It has a good feeling to discover something that only few people discovered, because normally I suck at searching for hidden things.

No, you'll have to start over I'm afraid.
Sigh! I knew i should have waited a day before starting to play... Sadly these huge advanced missions seem to always end up having bugs no matter how well they are tested. Same thing happened to me with COSAS.

If I Have to be brutally honest, I have to say I found the story to be very, very weak (what? Blue, Black, Gold Teams...). Also, after I played the first demo mission of Alexius, I am very surprised that I find the architecture of the Hammerite Imperium weak, too (Hello, Mr. Cube!)...
I respect your opinion and I realize that many folks here like this mission. Probably I shouldn't criticize that much because I didn't offer my help at least. But this is the only FM in the whole history of Thief editing that brought me to tears.
