I respect your opinion and I realize that many folks here like this mission. Probably I shouldn't criticize that much because I didn't offer my help at least. But this is the only FM in the whole history of Thief editing that brought me to tears.
Everyone in our team is aware of the fact that SSOM is far from perfect. It was actually meant just to be a prologue, but evolved into something much bigger (and meaner), and that's why it's flawed. As I told Alexius recently, we should point out that this was to be the weakest mission from the HI campaign. :p

Just because it's a fan mission doesn't render it immune to criticism :D Don't get me wrong. I'm sure you are very talented and you can make a great campaign.
But you had to work more on the plot, this is what I think... If we have a good plot, even if I don't like puzzles and extremely hard FMs, I won't give up. For example - Rockbourg series. I found the missions of DrK extremely difficult, hidden glyphs here and there that are impossible to be found. But I didn't give up.

Finished. Absolutely fantastic, that´s my opinion BT :sly: . I liked the story and the architecture. The only thing that maybe could have been different was the size of the grand library, a little lag there because of the size, I think.

I had done that several times but thought it was supposed to be that way.
It takes a very patient diagonal climb against either corner. ;)

I'll admit that the level of architecture was not equal across the entire map, but please keep in mind that resources were pretty much maxed out and didn't allow for uniform architecture.

Thanks, that helps narrow down the search. BTW, that's another flower in the cap for you guys, the architectural design is so sound, I could use the process of elimination to canvas the whole academy building.

I'm leaving this thread, because I said everything I had to say. I may try to play the FM some day, but only if somebody writes a detailed walkthrough. As for now, I'll try to make peace with my emotions and keep them under control.

I'm kinda stuck in the beggining where 2 gold attacks the blue... I've killed the 3 blues and 2 golds...but...I cant find a way out of it...One paths blocked by electricity and the other by wooden boards...I only found 3 arrows...water/noisemaker/moss..help?
EDIT nvm...i got past...now I gotta fix the crashing problem when I reach a certain library...
