Well that explains it, I'm in the wrong office... I am in Dean Bangor's office. There must also be a Father Bangor's office eh? Must be nice having two offices.

Wow...nice to see this get finished!:thumb:
Took a quick peek and nabbed some
rope arrows at the top of the falls.
Really looking forward to playing this. Many thanks to all the team.

Late as usual, but would just like to add my big thanx & appreciation to the whole team for their obvious skill, dedication & hard work :thumb:
Currently have blue, white & gold icons & am searching for a way into the Main Library (purple area) - thanx for the hints, PotatoGuy (or Bob or Taters or whoever you are now :D ) - so I've got some ways to go; but am taking it real slow so that, as with T7S, BT & Rocksburgh 3, I can really soak it in. IMO, the story & immersive feel are easily strong enough to 'support' the stunning architecture, texturing & detail, & the amazing lighting. I'm really loving this.
BTW: got aroung the 1st 2 gold guys without any problems, although they & the blue guys in the basement area all went to alert 1 very easily. Also, no stutters on my 2.8 / GeF4 / 19" CRT (yeah, I know, one of these days...)
Oh, & love the artwork!

Oh by the way, I think no one mentioned it yet - there is a lootlist in the mission ZIP. Which means when you have it installed, it will be sitting there in your Thief folder. It's called 7SoM_Lootlist.html and will open in your web browser. Thanks to FreddyFox and Nightwalker for making it!
We're testing a patch right now for the secret door bug. It will be distributed like this:
* A patch, which will be under 5MB, which only contains the updated mission file. This will fix the secret door issue only and will require you to restart the mission.
* Updated mission ZIPs (both) will include this fix, plus a few text corrections made by Nickie and also a slightly corrected readme.
The new version will be v1.1 once this is released. I expect we'll be able to release it tomorrow sometime.

I found 3 secrets. They are (iirc):
in magister's office - frobbable book
graveyard - switch on the back of a tombstone
dropping the dead body back in the golden sarcophagus

There are six secrets, but only five are available in v1.0 due to a bug.
General Secrets:
* A book switch opens a secret room in the Magister's office.
* A room with a spider chest in the silver area, it's above the room with all the pressure plates that set off gas arrows.
These are related to the side quest to find the remains of St. Excantium, presented in sequence:
* Inscription on floor by first arch on right inside front entry foyer (the huge stained glass window picture of The Emperor is pointing at it).
* A switch behind St Mari's tombstone in the cemetery opens a small room with loot and a clue about the side quest.
* Opening the secret lava cave entrance in the gold coffin room, down in the basement.
* Finding St. Excantium's secret burial room.
The final one in that list is inaccessible in v1.0 due to a bug, will be fixed by the patch/updated ZIPs, hopefully tomorrow.

1. I will NEVER make my future missions so hard...
You thought this mission was
hard?? :tsktsk: ;)
Anyway...
Anyone having crash problems should, in addition to moving the EP thing elsewhere (temporarily), find all custom content -- be it custom bowsites, differently-colored air bubbles, Japanese health shields, what have you -- and move that/those elsewhere as well before installing the FM. (Also, getting rid of any weird remnants leftover from other FMs might help.)
For me, the culprit in most crashes (when dealing with the more ambitious FMs) has to do with such things and not the EP...usually. But I remove that anyway, just in case.
Okay, enough of that. Stellar mission, people. Exquisite. Once I got past the confusion of the setup (I'm easily confounded...for example, ask me about math and revel in my dull, cowlike stare!), it turned out to be a lot of fun.

Just discovered the nice credits movie for this mission. Click on Continue after finishing the mission.

Finished and I can say enjoyed it, although this is my first mission what I played since months. The architecture is pretty good, the huge spaces grant the proper mood for a real hammerite cathedral (reminds me to Frobber's KOTP, my favourite), but I found strange in the Academy the totally open rooms without any fireplaces in the middle of winter. Furthermore I found the equipment a little skimpy but this can be accused onto the limitations. Definitely this mission is a very good intro for a great campaign and I hope will have continuation.
Thanks for the Team :thumb: .
