I'll wait for the patch and then FINALLY try to finish the thing. I haven't seen at least a third of this mission at all... :o

Me too, I still have to visit the silver and black team, I've done everything else. I'm waiting. :)

The archers who don't fire gas arrows are shooting, lessee... big darts with knockout drops on the tips! yeah, that's the ticket. :erm:
Nickie and I finished off the book errors this afternoon and I'll be uploading the new ZIPs soon, but have one more change to make first. Once testers have verified, we'll make them available to the hosts and then off we go. That means probably tomorrow sometime to give the testers adequate time to verify things. No point in rushing it only to have to do it all over again because I did something stupid... :o

Glad to see people enjoying this one! Although I'm a mere sound 'composer' for this HI project, it's still wonderful to watch this see daylight. The intro movie on youtube totally rocked in its simplicity and I am yet to install T2 on my newer PC and then play SSOM, but I'll definitely do that as soon as I can. Good job everyone who helped to make this huge campaign 'survive' in at least this kind of form! :)

Just as awesome the second time.

I curious to know if anyone besides the beta testers has ghosted this mission. :)
I did. And it's easier than you'd think.
The only real tough part is the Silver lair - because
of the guarded entrances and the over-patrolled stairwell.
The Black Lair was a piece of cake after thatAll the other parts may seem difficult but are rather easy if you're patient.

Glad to hear it. The Red area (main cathedral) used to be nearly impossible to ghost as there were almost no shadows. We fixed that, probably too well.

WRITE MORE FM REVIEWS. God, you're probably my favorite reviewer on all of the interwebs and I haven't seen anything from you in years (by the way, are your old Hangar 16 reviews archived anywhere?).
:cheeky:
Well...I have a couple up at the Foxhole -- (
http://foxhole.starfoxweb.com/reviews/review-tfm) FM reviews section -- but I haven't put the rest up yet (I'm doing pretty good if I simply wake up in the morning). I've
almost finished a review of Lady Rowena's Seven Sisters... The latest I've re-posted was a ten-page marathon review of Christine's Lord Ashton series, back in 2008. I have the Night Falcon series review almost ready for posting, as well.
[At the moment I'm hung up on upgrading a couple of mods I did for Morrowind, Oblivion, AND Fallout 3...
all at the same time :nono:...but I think I can put aside a little time to finish up one or two FM reviews.]
I don't have any of my H16 reviews archived anywhere, although I have been meaning to post them just for history's sake. The problem is keeping myself from tinkering with them; I look at the earlier reviews and want to rewrite 'em completely. :tsktsk:
As for THIS mission -- sorry, I'll go off-topic at the drop of a bikini -- besides the cathedral, my favorite part was KOing the Reds, who usually made this sound...well, anyone remember
Dracula: Dead And Loving It? The sound Leslie Nielsen made when he opened Lucy's window and smelled all the garlic...was similar to that. :thumb: Or the carriage driver at the beginning when he realized it was getting dark.
Strange. Everything reminds me of either Mel Brooks or Hackett-era Genesis these days.

I'll be sure to play the mission on Expert, or whatever the hardest mode is called. Good job! Personally I think it is worthy enough to be an actual level in the original Thief missions.
Seriously seconded!!! :thumb:

This FM is incredible and worthy of all the praise it has received and more, but I am about ready to start jumping off the bridge between the academy and the cathedral! I've completed all objectives except find the white team's icon. Someone PLEASE tell me where it is!!!
