Sneaky Jack, I am the unghostingest player in the world, but I had a ball with this mission. First up, you can see from the objectives that you are going to get some gear soon.
Second, the fun you can have with the gas trap is immense.
I finished it last night on the easiest level, with a couple of secrets, in just over 3 hours, but it took me 3 days and probably about 10 hours playing time to achieve this.
To the makers, thank you for the work and thought that went into this mission. From my point of view, the gameplay was superb. You must trust the experience of the makers in this Sneaky Jack. Some parts are difficult, but not impossible. You are given what you need. Once I realised that, I could take my time and enjoy it.
My only criticism would be a sense of anti-climax at the ending after some near-breathtaking escapes. Having been to the vaults under the cathedral well before completing all the objectives needed to finish, it becomes obvious that these areas are optional, and lead only to bonus objectives, thereby making the accomplishment of getting the mine detonators and loot seem superflous.
I never did find the moving stone wall in the cathedral walkways and after realizing it was possibly a bug, pretty well gave up after that, thus the sense of let-down.
The mission itself however, it truly magnificent. So Jack, do yourself a favour, trust the highly experienced creators, and give it another go.

Found both switches, then promptly got killed by a gas trap that activated on its own, apparently.
Near the light switch is a scroll (on the crate) that tells you about the gas trap and what triggers it. There is also a toolbox with a noisemaker in it.

I am finding my way around now after doing some trial and error :laff:
Once I find my trusty blackjack I'll be able to enter my 'comfort zone' again and truly enjoy the mission. The parts that I've seen since getting the rope arrows are definitely making me want to continue :)
Thanks everyone for your help - once I turned the gamma up a bit I could see the switch that I missed (apparently im going blind!) and I've now found the rope arrows and am making my way around the mission. Now to find that gear and I'm set :laff: Most missions I figure out right away but some of the bigger releases like this seem to put me back into newbie land somehow.

As someone who regularly gives up on missions I find too frustrating or tedious, I found Seven Shades to be a bit on the easy side . The two switches at the start enables one to pretty much walk by the guards and the traps are spelled out clear as day in the scroll on the crate . The only real challenge for me was the silver and black teams, and that didn't even take too much effort . I did get killed a few times at the start until I learned too slow down and think about how to proceed . :)

Congratualations on release, guys. You must be very pleased. :)
A sigh of relief, certainly!

Found a bug, or an exploit......
At the start, in the gas machine room I decided to drop the instructional scroll at the tripwire as a marker to the wire's location. If the scroll is dropped in exactly the right place, the tripwire disappears and you can walk through it without activating the gas machine. :ebil:

Just WOW!
What a terrific mission so far. I haven't reached the cathedral yet, but so far it looks beautiful. I love the intro, the art and music, and the readables in the Academy make me giggle :cheeky:
Kudos to the whole team for the level of attention!
Did anyone noticed Shivan's result for his theology exam btw? :thumb:

Let me give you a hint:
DON't go up the stairs to the academy. Instead,
look at the hallway from the two golden team members to the electrical trap, there is a hole in the ceiling. Shoot a rope arrow to it and go right. You'll end up in the room where you can find your blackjack!
