Dangit, my fault. I know I took care of that, but I guess it didn't make it into the updated readme. If Tannar is in the credits, and the .mis and .gam files are dated yesterday, then you have the right file.

Thanks for the updated video files they worked perfectly :)

Wow, thanks for the video walkthrough - It made me realize how much my sound card sucks. Thief doesn't sound that good for me at all.
Anyways I just stopped in to say well done and thanks to all involved with this one. I had a blast playing through and intend to play through on expert later this week.
There's just something about this one and MX that really bring back that ol' thiefy feeling for me.
Think I'll go play MX again now. . .

Hey buddy, I think you have three or four FMs that we're all waiting for... back to work! ;)

You need to lean around the corner to frob that wheel lever. You can also hug the wall making your way to the light switch. If you wait a few minutes, I'm uploading a video walkthrough of the beginning to YouTube as we speak and will post a link when it's done.
Edit
(

Really cracks me up watching other people play Thief. I think to myself, would I move that way? I did that sequence on expert without using the light switch or noisemaker on the first time, but I think the golds ended up in a good spot to do it. The tougher spot on my first run-through (ghost) was the blue guy on the academy level at the top of the stairs - I used my noisemaker to get him out of the way.
Best stealth advice I can give - crouch!

I did it very differently too, for example to pick up the rope arrows, I managed to jump out of the sewer pipe unto the waterfall without taking damage.

I think that's supposed to be the 'correct' way of going about the start of the level.
I think by showing it differently in the video, that Yandros is encouraging others to cheat a little. :laff:
When I played through, the two yellow Hammerites were taken down, and only one blue guy was left standing. I didn’t see the light switch, but I got the guy trapped in behind the generator and then ran past him from the other end.
This level was very impressive overall.
I just wanted to add a few ‘wishlist’ items I thought of.
It would have been amazing to see more interaction between the opposing enemies. Or add more tension so that you felt you had to hurry throughout the level. It’d be cool if another color team had found an icon and then re-hid it in some obscure place. What if there was a time limit to finding the icons, and if you didn’t find them before that, then they were moved into very hard to find locations. With just a note by the team leader which gives a hint to its new location. Also, if there were black team members hidden here and there throughout the whole map, where you didn’t expect them at all, that could’ve led to several :o moments. It’d make the player think twice about running around the map over tiled floors at will.

This was a pretty good mission. I'm not trying to brag, but I didn't find it that difficult (I was playing "Shadow"), just time consuming. I'm kind of annoyed I didn't check for that patch, since I just wasted a hour trying to find where the wall that moved must have been. And a few other annoyances:
- Use of the electromagnetic mines wasn't too well explained, took me a few reloads to get it.
- I was looking everywhere fo how to activate the elevator in the bell tower. Maybe I missed a readable that said the elevator was broken?
- Story setup was a bit cheesy. :P
- I see this was fixed in the patch a well, but I didn't get to use the goodies in the library since everyone was sleeping already. I still had a pretty easy time with things though.
I also did a diagonal climb along the side of the waterfall to get the rope arrows. What was the correct way? I tried jumping like the note said, but just couldn't make it.
Thanks for the mission guys!

- Seems pretty clear to me:

Instructions on the use of the Theodicium mines:
Place Theodicium mine on the floor. The mine's field magnetizes it to the ground - you won't be able to pick it up again, so think well before putting each one down. Insert the power node (Theodicium mine trigger). Anyone wearing heavy metal armor within a distance of 6 elbows will be instantly fried and knocked out by a powerful electrical discharge. - The bell tower lift can't be fixed or activated. You have
rope arrows and
a slowfall potion (or two if you get the patch).
- Diagonal climb is the best way to
scale the waterfall, yes. Check my walkthrough video. It took me a second to get the right angle in that, but it was in fact only the second time I had done it.

I read the first couple of pages and did not see this so please forgive me if it is mentioned already.
Are there movies in a format other then indeo available yet ?
I play under linux and there are no indeo 5 codecs available that I could find.
I also have Wine setup to play thief and system shock, and for at least the last 6 months to a year the movies work fine. I don't remember whether I had to run the codec installer or not, but I have movies.
Also, on a completely different note, since we're unlikely to get the rest of the Imperium campaign, anyone know where the story was going to go? There are a few notes of political intrigue and I'm just curious.
