The purple spellcasters in the GL have some very odd behavior sometimes because of how their spells and abilities are implemented. John and I tried to fix the problem, but they only got worse, so we just left well enough alone. Trust me, disappearing is about the mildest thing you could see when they decide to act up.

I think I know what you're talking about Yandros. I did another playthrough with the patch installed (only missed 260 from the total loot) and one "WTF?" moment happened exactly in the Grand Library. I had a Purple Wizard chasing me, so I gassed him with an arrow. As I was going to pick up his body and hide it away somewhere, the body got up on its own and walked away spouting: "I like books...". A short chase later I picked up the body (in motion) but it was still chattering away about books and whatnot. If I dropped it, it would continue on its merry way.
(Then there was the time when the Purple Team Leader took a wrong turn in the belltower and wound up on the Cathredal floor, unharmed, none the wiser...and still yammering about books! But I think this is an older Thief bug.)
Two other memorable moments during this playthrough was when I knocked out a Gold team member. His final words were "And the Builder said....<klonk>...BUILDERRRRrrrrr!" *thud*. The other one was when I got Read Team Leader and his two flunkies chasing me past that door that leads down into the basement. I managed to open it at just the right time, the trap took out all three of them!
Propably the only time I wished that I had FRAPS or something similar recording my playthrough.

As Fingernail said above, that was the architecture only that's 60% done, which means the mission overall is maybe 30% done.
Yes. The
architecture only 60% done.

offtopic directed at RedFace:
Hey redface, could you tell me how you made that flash song player thing on the 7 shades website?

Now would be the time for me to get off my lazy *** and get to work learning dromed, or else the next mission in this campaign will be alot worse off...
Pretty difficult mission, Where in gods name do I go after I've pushed the first two gold guys into the lazer security gate?

Albert: Switch it off! I should read the scroll on top of the chest by the toolbox before you go much farther.

Personally I'd love to see mission 2 because I think it's the one that has the Grand Cathedral which is supposed to be so incredibly huge and amazing.
You mean Seven Shades is
not the grand cathedral thing? I'm asking because i haven't played it yet. It would be puty if the cathedral never sees the light of day. I've seen an early version of the mission, it is grand indeed.

I'm so used to posting play stats this way for the TIS campaigns, I thought I would do it here:
Difficulty: Shadow
Ghosted: No
Loot: 8499 out of 9634 (played v1.0)
Pockets Picked: 11 out of 12
Locks Picked: 13
Knockouts: 44 While Airborne: 1
Innocents killed: 0 Others killed: 0
Secrets: 5 out of 6 (played v1.0)
Total Time: 5 Hours and 32 minutes
General Mission Thoughts:
Outstanding! Wonderful! Marvelous! and many other adjectives of praise that I won't take time to type.
Standout Mission Traits:
* Architecture (Amazing what can be pulled off with this old engine)
* The story (Very creative, even though it wasn't Garrett in the lead role. Thief 4 team definitely needs to take a look at this for ideas).
* New weapons (The two-piece electrical device was awesome, I also liked the ice bombs (too bad they had to go away in v1.1).
* New AI dialog (the purples were very humorous).
Things I didn't enjoy:
Getting off of ladders was a real pain at times.
Finding out that I would have to start from scratch to achieve the final secret.
Benny moments:
After nailing the Purple Team Leader with a "stop time" spell, and then KO'ing him. I carried him and dropped him in a shadowed area. I then went back to the center area where he was standing watch, and began to explore around the desks. Next thing I know, I hear his voice, but I don't see him! I look over to where I dropped him only to find that he is not there, he has awakened, but the strange thing is his body from the waist down is submerged into the floor, and he is trying to walk through one of the desks to get back to his watch spot.:laff: I walked around behind him and attempted to BJ him again, but to no avail. At this point, I just went on my way collecting whatever loot I could find, but when I started back up the stairs to leave, I noticed that he had made his way back to his watch spot, and now the rest of his body was above ground. Just for the heck of it, I shot a gas arrow at him...it had no effect.:weird:
Replay Value:
I definitely plan to play v1.1 so I can get that final secret.
