Ah, I didn't see a message in the tomb. Where should I be looking for that?

In the White Team base. Look on the map for the cemetery. It's spelt cemetary on the map.

Verak, my guess is that you need to first acquire the bonus objective by
finding the pointing emperor and reading the text on the floor. Then return to St. Mari's tomb for the clue, and proceed from there.

please don't get upset with me for this, I just don't want to search through all the pages of the thread. I'd like to play this again for the 5th and 6th time, but I've been waiting for the bugs to get worked out. Is it all 100% working without any hitches now? I'd like to get that last bit of the mission which didn't work before. Sorry for being lazy and not wanting to read through all these posts.

OK, that makes sense. I think I'm pretty tired for now so it'll have to wait. Thanks to everyone who's helped!

Don, the patch/v1.1 contains all known fixes save one - there is a bonus objective for finding the secret which wasn't accessible in the original release, but the bonus objective goes invisible when you leave the room. Just check your objective screen while you're in there. It basically just says
"Way to go, you found the secret tomb of St. Excantium!"Verak: Agreed with oneof4, once you read
the scroll in the secret room behind St. Mari's grave, you'll know what to do in
the lava cave.

Marvellous mission! One little thing I must admit: I loved the sound when you blackjack a black team member. Creepy.

I've download the mission, but I'm afraid it looks like I won't actually play it in the foreseeable future - it's just unplayably choppy. In the start area, I get something like 4-5 frames per second. Now, I don't really see that many polygons or long viewing distances in the river, but at first I though maybe the sky is deceptively high or something.
But then I went into the Blue area, and the framerate didn't improve at all. The first room there is what? Maybe 4 by 4 by 4 meters with a single piece of machinery and a few pipes and no views into large distant open areas, and it still has a framerate of 4 FPS? That's just impossible. Why is it this low?
When I got to the room where the Golds attack the Blues, I noticed that the pipes seem to have those red-and-yellow custom-textured fittings. In fact, the custom texture on them is so minute that even with a fully zoomed-in view I couldn't make out the details? Is this maybe why the game is so slow, because every single object and texture has been retextured at such high resolutions that they slow the game to a crawl even in tiny rectangular rooms?
I don't know if this is the case, but if so, then could you maybe release a "light" version of the FM with default textures (and any custom textures with resolutions lowered to saner standards), so that people without Cray supercomputers can play it, too? I don't need a billion pixels per square centimeter to enjoy a well-constructed FM, but I do need an acceptable frame rate.

Well, I can't help you with anything definite but, if you take out a bunch of the enemy (knock outs, traps, turning them on each other...) the fps will, hopefully, increase. It was a little sluggish for me at first but after the number of opponents decreased things started to flow properly, but your case seems more sever than mine so no guarantees.
