pfew, that was, by far, the best, most incredible, most 'wow, look at the arcitecture', most 'holy s**t, that was scary' level i've ever played. and, to top it all off, i got all the loot, a first for me, FM or OM. i was just about scared silly, almost wet myself in terror, in Act 3 (you know that parts, if you've played it. if not, PLAY IT!)
thanks to everyone who helped on that level, with out you i would never have had so much fun :cheeky:
please, please, tell me there's a sequal. actually, i have a thought on that, but i'm sure i'm way off:
was that Mercedes' voice at the end, giving him the lockpicks? is Calendra's Cistern a sequal, of sorts?
No, Calendra's Cistern is no Sequel in any means. And there is no other sequel to download.
 We can only beg Saturnine to desin us one ....

Here is another 7th Crystal great fan - me. I was also so much disappointed that things ended without any continuation.
Let's beg Saturnine for a sequel, shall we? :)

You guys don't know what you're asking! I love 7th Crystal as well, VERY much so, but you have to understand that it was a MASSIVE undertaking for Saturnine, and it almost never saw the light of day due to horrible Dromed Death syndrome problems. A sequel would surely be just as huge an undertaking as well, especially with all the high expectations, so I can imagine that I myself would be hesitant to go forward with one :) In any case, Sat may indeed do something more for us all, but even if so it will be a very long time till we see it. So in the mean time, we can just replay this GEM of a mission every few months and relive the experience! :thumb:

no sequal? aww... i can't even imagine the amount of work that went into that, i'm having a hard enough time making it through Komag's tutorial. i'm a patient person, though. Saturnine can take all the time in the world to make a sequal, i'll happily wait.

There was a time where Saturnine was on the point of making it, but I think he fell over.
Right now he's working with Apache.

He once posted a screenshot of the sequel in the making, but only to tell us he had abandoned it :( It showed a beautiful building, if I remember right it was the courthouse where Garrett was prosecuted in the last act from the outside.

Even though I was wowed and amazed by the technical innovations and the exquisite attention to design in T7C, I’d be happy with a sequel that resolved the plot even if it wasn't on the same tour de force level as the original.

Oops, hope the Wilsons aren't reading this.:joke:

I believe it's more "put on hold until sufficient levels of free time and motivation are available" than "abandoned"
