Aha, I found the blue gem:
[SPOILER]As you head south in the Crypt, you come to a point where you go down a short set of steps by a Cthulhu statue (there is one of these on both east and west sides). Immediately after you pass those stairs, turn west from the east side or east from the west side (that is, turn towards the middle of the Crypt) into a hard-to-see, narrow corridor in shadow. In that corridor, on top of a crypt, you'll find the blue gem, as well as a lot of loot.[/SPOILER]

Sorry, I'm still looking for the red gem and this description isn't detailed enough.
Can anyone tell me where this

Update: I figured it out on my own.
When you enter the crypt, go left, go past the room with the statue with wings, stay to the left and where you'd normally go right, stay left and look for a dark hallway leading to the lockbox. Take this description and switch "left" with "right" for the other dark hallway leading to the key.Also, make sure you've got the damaged head and all the gems before you

There seems to be some "anti-keep" people on this site that interfere with this site becoming a good repository of missions... sad considering the best ones such as thiefmissions.com has fallen by the wayside. I like southquarter for download but the missions are not complete and up to date. People should leave the keep of metal and gold alone and stop banning him from this site.
