In the walkthru it says
to frob the peg with the ring, but where is the peg to begin with? Or do I just
use the ring on the wheel, missing the peg? Help the
astronomer/stargazer move on from this world, then go to the sun/fire elemental room I think.

But that was a very annoying FM. I have one final question though. What illusion will disappear when frobbing the ring of clarity? I didn't get that at all...

I believe that you do that in the fire room.

You can use the ring to
activate and deactivate the magic of the elemental rooms in the Sun Tower. Also has a side effect, look around after using it once.

It's one of the best FMs I've ever played: the story is very interesting, the objectives are challenging, the location is unique and most importantly very good designed. It gets more complex while progressing further in the mission but at the same time openes new ways to get back and forth, together with the wonderful map this is an instant winner. Because I'm more an explorer than a fighter or thief, the FM was spot-on.
I'm framing this and putting it up on my wall \:D/
...together with this:

Sorry... But that was a very annoying FM.
TSWTSW is apparently not a mission for everyone...

Nope, it's definetly the water room :( After going in there nothing works and all I do is swim around after it (great in the earthquake room to get the loot, however...) even in the tunnel mines it won't go back to normal. I guess I can avoid the water room & earthquake room, there's nothing there of great importance, right?
Hmpf... so, that old bug is showing up again :( If I ever do a remake I'll look into this again, but for now I'm going to move on; sorry! My next FM ((
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118907&p=1951542&viewfull=1#post1951542)) will be much more traditional and focus a lot more on sneaking and architecture instead of too much tech stuff.
On popular demand a list of all Easter eggs with spoilers will be released together with something else (in the next few weeks?).

Having spent lots of time trying to get to where the Lighthouse Keeper's ghost patrols, I'd like to get this & finish off. As I see it there are 3 ways:-
1. Let the sun blow open the outer end of the blocked tunnel - but have already calmed the sun,
2. Engaging in yet another series of death-defying jumps & rope-arrowings; frankly, I've reached my limit on this & if that's the only way I'll let it slide,
3. Getting into the storeroom for some explosive powder & blasting the tunnel open myself.
So; could I get a big, non-obscure, hint for #3, or is there yet another way (in which case, I'll also need a hint)?
Thanx :)

Getting into the storeroom for some explosive powder & blasting the tunnel open myself. Option 2 unfortunately. There is a
small narrow ledge around that
asteroid somewhere. I carefully timed and placed jump/leap will get you there.
This will lead to 1 + 3.

Thanx, bob_doe_nz & qolelis - went ahead & tried it & found it was nowhere near the toughest manoevre in the mission ;)

If you mean the place where you get into the cave that is connected to the storeroom with many explosive barrels, I have (twice) been able to squeeze myself "through" the rock (the sun is otherwise supposed to explode), using a series of forwards/sideways leaning and some wiggling motions.
