You can't "use" the book so just drop it (default key should b "R")

I had usually missed that "drop" operation.
Finished - nice mission.

Great mission, Don! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
And a wonderful contuniation of Garrett's story!
I especially liked the 'respawning' of guards and city inhabitants. I was in for a shock several times when I ran along the city streets, thinking everbody is knocked down and suddenly a guard in a niche yelled behind me: 'HEY YOU!' :cheeky:
But this way the city appears to be really alive... :)
I can't await how this story will continue...

Excellent mission uncadonego!! Story and gameplay are both top notch. Kept me well entertained for nearly 3 hours. FWIW, I used 2 of the 3 gas arrows and had no problems so there must be some degree of randomness with this.
Two thumbs, way up! :thumb: :thumb:

I am really enjoying this mission, mainly because it has forced me to play in a different style...1st time I play a mission, I just jump in with sword- a -swinging, then I usually try to "Lytha" it, when I know what the layout is, etc..but (and I know I,m a dumb-ass, but we all miss obvious stuff sometimes) I cannot find the book!!
In my defence, I have had lots of interruptions today whilst playing (you know, real life and stuff), so I would love it if one of you taffers would tell me where to find it (a hint rather than a blatant spoiler would do...)...
Thanx in advance for any help
In the meantime I will carry on just lovin' this mission...It's the best in a long time

It's definitely in the book collector's house, and he's a little touchy about the guards snooping around a certain area of the house for some reason. He's even threatened to fire the next guard he sees putting his nose around there. Stacy got a note from him to warn all the guards about minding their own business. I wonder why he is so touchy about that area? ;)

This is just a great mission, one of the best I've played in a while, and there's been a LOT of good missions recently.
The Citywatch Guide Book was was a real hoot!
Shame you can't get into any of the pubs though, it's a big mission and some refreshment would've been nice ;)
Thanks Uncadonego!

Another winner! The switches were a little easier to find... NOT only 4 out of 8 - guess that's why they call em secrets..
You got me once with
new guards after objective complete. I was hauling Sloane agent out of the station past one area with out looking. The guard cut me down with three hits!
:o I "learned" to take nothing for granted after that. :thumb:
