Actually you will have to snatch all of the tears, and the two ruby eyes before the trap door opens.

Not necessary, look closesly and you should see the trap door open, very close to the Devil who's Ruby eyes you have. If you need a walkthrough may I suggest watching the youtube videos posted. Good luck !

Funny thing, the trap door was there when I reloaded. I did find one little bug in the whole thing though. Down in the crypt (after the horn) I killed the first Red haunt with holy water. When I got to the 2nd one the green one to the left I was hiding in the shadows and when I clicked on my last holy water bottle Everything just zoomed in. had to run into the middle of the room so that when I reloaded and it did it again I could still aim at the haunt. That really freaked me out the 1st time since the wall got so close it felt like I was going to get hurled into or through it lol. Slowly it zoomed out, but I lost my shot the 1st time. I don't think that has ever happened in a thief game before. It was just weird :p Other than that, awesome FM :thumb:

So .. have got the grandfather clock key but I now need a birdcage to put on the statue the one I used for access to the aviary is no longer frobbale and the other in one of the rooms has never been. Where can I find the one I need?

This mission doesn't look like much at first but it's full of surprises. I would have liked a shortcut to the starting place at the end.

There is a shortcut. Just jump from high up the tower down into the water :D
