Version 1.1 to 1.2 update: very minor change. The Talisman of Death was frobbable if the rosary was blessed even if the gate was still closed. This was a problem that I thought I had fixed during beta testing after Sluggs found it. However I must have "unfixed" it by mistake. My gamesys change was there and ready, but the object properties were somehow wrong again. Also, the 1.2 version file name is correct v1.2, but the readme file still says 1.1, this was an oversight, as long as the file name is correct the mission should be fine. If I issue a version 1.3 i'll correct that as well.

Version 1.0 to 1.1 update: turns out that a small bug prevents the mission from finishing in version 1.0 if the bonus objective is not complete. In version 1.1 the objective is set to optional as well. If you have version 1.0 you'll either have to skip the bonus objective (don't read the elixir of life scroll) or complete the objective.

A fence came to me with a request. A collector is looking for an ancient artifact, The Talisman of Death. Trouble is that its being kept by a local Hammerite monastery. Seems the Hammerites fear the talisman and keep it under pretty close guard. The last couple of thieves to go after this one were never heard from again.

It’s a tough job, but nothing is impossible for the greatest thief in the world. While I’m there I should look for a few other artifacts. The Sword of the Builder should bring a good price, magical swords always do. These Hammerites are also known to have a secret fighting technique. If I could find a copy of their fighting manual it could be valuable.

I've only just started this but it certainly has the wow factor. Jason has an uncannily fine eye for design and detail. it's jaw-droppingly beautiful with oodles of custom stuff but I couldn't help laughing at the [SPOILER]hammers with the rice paddy hats on.[/SPOILER]

If it plays as well as it looks this is going to be special.

Congrats, Jason! This is a beautifully crafted mission and great fun to play. I'm sure everyone will love it, especially the oriental Hammer twist!

Oh by the way, for those of you who don't frequent the Editor's Guild, Otto's announcing his own contest mission because it was the only entry I received, so I had to cancel the contest.
