It's intended to be quite difficult on expert.
Yes. VERY difficult

Mamma Mia!!! After finishing Sceptor of Dor Am'al, I am back to this castle. I guess I am not following the logic or do you need to be able to read German to catch on what to do? I have been in 10 rooms, collected 5 keys and 3 "speciality items" and haven't a clue where to go next without getting clobbered.
SinisterShadow on 5/9/2007 at 19:57
I guess you need some textual hints. Which special items have you found yet?
joanieS on 5/9/2007 at 20:18
I've found shoes, bouquet and garter.
Let me know if it would be better to wait for the English translation to play this mission. Thanks.

It's probably better to wait for the translation.

Yes, I think so to.
The German language is not a problem for me, but my download only shows me empty pages, empty nameboards on the walls, empty books a.s.o. so I guess I just start playing it again when I know what to do.
I wonder why the author releases this mission before all other "stuff" has been done?
I don't mean to critisize (bad spelling: I KNOW!) here: I'm just wondering?!!!

This mission was a gift for the wedding of Darklady, a member of the German forum, and was therefore released in German on her wedding day, Aug. 18. :)
It isn't "officially" released to the English community yet, it just somehow crept up here :D So please don't be impatient, I'm sure many of you know how much work it is to release a mission, even if you don't have to worry about a set date, like in this case. There simply was no time to prepare an English translation.
Coy/Silentsigh, the writer of the story (and btw a really excellent author), is working on the translation, but since she works much and has many other things to do, it can take a while.

We had a quite short-time "deadline" for this because of the wedding. Work on the Map was nearly done less than one week before it.
That's when I was asked for a more detailed concept and some books, so I was bound to certain terms of reference, which had already been decided before I began writing.
That's why some parts of the story might seem constrained. We would have to rebuilt most of the house for my first concept, so I had to cut it down to size all over again, which did not do it very good... but it was just for fun, so what? ;)
Inventing the rat was real fun.
Besides, we are neraly finished with our amateure-translation.
Would be nice if some native speaker could be able to proofread it soon...
Any volunteers? :sly:

Little update concerning the translation:
I did the rest today* and hope that there is somebody out there who likes to have a look at it.
*As long as it really was the rest. I asked for more but nobody came back to me with more text. The last ones I did were the diary entries.
By the way: Greetings from Ireland!
Anyone out there?
