I'm stumped where to go or what to do next...
[SPOILER]I've been in the room with six doors (in all those rooms), and the fountain room where I got the key to the spider foot locker. I've gotten the horn, several of the stolen items (missing the dress, shoes, and rings), and I've flushed three of the burglary tools (crowbar, dagger, sword), though there must be more because the objective didn't check yet. I have a bunch of loot, though that's not an objective. I looted the kitchen and the dining room, and I taffed around in the white mouse room.
I'm playing on Expert: I haven't found the lockpicks -- either for the latrine or for myself, not sure which they are -- nor Robert, nor the missing items above. I read about a secret room, but I haven't found the switch for that yet.[/SPOILER]
Can someone give me a pointer, please?

[SPOILER]Yeh you need to find the secret door. It's in one of the two rooms (I think the one on the right) opposite the bar area. There is a tiny weeny tiny switch hidden behind the top of the bed which you can't really see (what a surprise!) which moves the wardrobe. That should finish this one for you.[/SPOILER]

The shoes (if you haven't found them yet) are in a chest in the area with the fountains. The key is on top of the wardrobe.[/SPOILER]

Nice mission... how come it's so large -- more than 80 Mb? It seems pretty compact while playing.

A lot of custom stuff in the Mission made the file size that big. The speech files for the custom AIs are ~40 MB alone. If I separated the mission file into two versions, one for German and one for English, each of them would still have been ~60 MB in size, which isn't that much smaller than the combined version. - And I reduced the size from far above 100 MB already. :eww:

So far I'm having an absolutely great time with this FM! But I'm stuck right now; I've found Robert & have carried him up the ladder (already have the smelling salts) but when I try to put him on the bed he just falls right through and hits the floor. I've tried every way from Sunday to get him on the bed and to administer the salts on him, but it's not working.
EDIT: Nevermind! I ended up jumping up on the bed, facing the headboard and then dropping him & it worked. Objective clicked off after I gave him the salts & he took off running.
I also have no clue as to how to get into the storeroom on the first floor. I've tried the thief's lockpicks as well as the crowbar, but nothing works.
Edit 2: Nevermind again. :o I found the storageroom key on the old lady in the kitchen.
Btw; I thought the white high-seas rat was a marvellous touch!! I giggled every time I heard it muttering to itself as it scurried through each of the first floor rooms (wreaking havoc as it went) and watched as it finally disappeared out the front door. I've seen it pass by outside the open front door a couple times; looks like it's doing laps around the house. Absolutely hysterical!!! :thumb:
Definitely enjoyed this FM; just wish it had been longer (with a larger map, maybe?). Thanks again Theker, for another very good FM (& thanks to all who contributed to this one as well)! :thumb: :thumb:

Theker did the original architecture.
I have to mention that it was Sinister Shadow mainly -with help of mayan and others- who worked quite a bit of time to eventually make that castle an FM. ;)

I had really wondered about the rat text. The real thing was quite amusing, especially the muttering. Any chance the ParrotSpider makes an apperance in a later mission?

alright, I need to get into the torture chamber. I can't find the key, and since someone mentioned throwing the scissors at the door I've tried that too :sly:
pretty sure I've been everywhere else, though I don't have all the objectives ticked off yet...
