an entire
Watch station?! how do I get in there?
You might've been there without realizing it was a City Watch Station, because it's pretty small :laff:
It's just the small City Watch Office of Spirestead-South, and is accessible from the streets.
It's marked on the map that Willem gives you in his report.

It doesn't look like it's your first mission, it's a masterpiece. Congratulations!

Thank you for the mission, justsomemusicguy!
While playing I had the feeling that this mission was made by a definite professional of dromEd, so it was shocking to see it's your first one. Both the city and the mansion part was meticulously designed. The multiple entry routes to the mansion, the accessible houses, the bonus objectives and the secrets were nicely done and well positioned. It's good to see that FMs lately take on an old-school approach to Thief, I hope it becomes a trend. I can only say what I said earlier at 1600frogs' mission, "Old habits and dead wives": No custom textures, no custom sounds, nothing that seems out of place. It's much better when effort goes into designing the gameplay and not into hardware demanding graphics (my old computer doesn't like those :D ).
Congratulations on the release and I hope I can play other missions from you in the future!

Big credit to the betatesters, who helped me out a lot (especially looking at you for this one Mat99!) with optimizing and keeping the mission filesize as small as possible :)

But there's more!
In addition there are three bonus objectives, but I'll only hint at them:
#1 Find the 'cursed relic'.
#2 Steal what you were recommended not to steal from the manor.
#3 Put the Mechanist mail box to good use. ;) Hi, can you or someone here give me some hints please about the first one? I simply can't find anything like that, even I don't know where to search for it. I only have the
hand.
So complex and interesting mission, really enjoyable, full with riddles and secrets (my personal favs :cheeky:) congrats to the Author! :thumb:
Loved the book
That Was Never Found - or was it? :laff:

"Last but not least" I just finished this wonderful mission. Of all the new ones that came out recently this one definitely was my favourite, only "old habits and dead wifes" is close to it for me. Thieving around the city and robbing a mansion blind, while finding some secrets, some nice bonus objectives, reading about what´s going on in the city and with some people and even brewing some potions... what´s better than that?! :cheeky:
Thank you very much for this enjoyable mission!! I hope you will make many more like this one!! :thumb:

Thanks a lot, Samantha1!
And who knows... all the feedback I've gotten so far on this mission has been both inspiring and motivating. If I find a nice idea for a next mission, I might create another one... sometime.

Many thanks to the author for an amazing mission, especially considering this is a first effort. The atmosphere in the manor was really unsettling, ambience music placement was perfect!
The all-around exploration was really fun and from some citations i think the author must be a metal music fan.
Thanks again for a few hours of delightful playtime.
