Unfortunately there isn't. There's a key to the front doors, though. And there's two relatively quick ways back to the streets from the front yard.

About the map: the report you picked up from Willem hints at who you might want to pay a visit before breaking into the estate.

Rope arrows?
Hello, pretty nice city mission so far.
I am playing on expert difficulty and need at least one rope arrow to proceed.
Where do I find some?
By now I got the golden skull and the manor map.

I found 3 rope arrows but none seem to work. Never seen this kind of glitch before.

You're right, this is a bug. But not an obvious one: the rope arrow found in the attic is the problem. If you play on Hard or Expert and pick up the rope arrow in the attic without having any other rope arrows in your inventory, this rope arrow will bug out. However, if you play on Normal (you start with one rope on Normal) or pick up other rope arrows before picking up the one in the attic, they 'merge' together and will all work just fine.
This warrants a fix. I'll start working on a v1.1 of this mission.
EDIT: Updated the first post in this thread. The download link now leads to version 1.1 of the mission, with the rope arrow bug fixed.

Yeah I had the rope arrow bug too, the only one I found so far was in the attic. Will get v1.1 and start over, no biggie & am enjoying it so far.
