I went back and tied up loose ends. Got all the loot and secrets! I also got the lute objective which is a nice touch. :)
bdkl,
After i changed the testament using the feather pen, i dropped it on the table in the Lord's bedroom and it worked
Aspirin
To the left of the statue in the corner of the wall is one of those tiny switches, if you can't see it, just crouch down and frob. The correct statue is right at the end of the corridor.
:D
What a lovely mission. I enjoyed all the changing objectives. It was bit rash of me to try expert, though. I've done everything except loot all six guest rooms. I'm tearing my hair out here. I must have missed something. I've robbed every guest room, but does the objective not tick unless you've cleaned them out completely?

you have to take the special loot items from their locked boxes. like "degger's dagger"... a "golden hammer"... you get it

I've dropped the testament , poisoned the old crone and have the evidence - now I don't have a clue how to end the mission .

How the hell do you progress from the Fine Leathers entrance? I get to the unfrobbable metal door just after the sleeping guard, and that's it. Dead end. What the hell? :weird:

chis Open the door that leads to the little bathroom and open the floor grate.
bdkl When you're done everything, go back down to the caves and over to the metal door, which leads to the Pagan Sanctuary. The mission will end as you approach it.

Thanks Nightwalker, I looked to see if the grate was frobbable but it didn't seem to be. Even though it is. :erg:

No . I have still an objective to meet the lord Marton and find out who the real murderer is . The evidence already tells me this , I see zero trace of lord Marton anywhere , and if there was an audio clue I've missed it .  :erg:

bdkl,
You have to return to where the "old lady" is. Go all the way up the stairs in her house. He's in a room there.

Done . I needed to go upstairs and read the book through . I'm not sure how I missed this the first time , or if I never read the book through . If I didn't get stuck and have to visit the forum multiple times this would have been a flawless mission . The objectives moving along with the plot was an excellent idea , however the sound in Thief has always been terrible ( with the exception of T7C ) and I found Lord Marton's clues impossible to follow ( nice accent though ) . I would suggest the same clues be given in a scroll at the scene for us tone deaf taffers . A more detailed map always helps as well - by the time I was finding my way around most of the mission was done .
The rain in particular was very well done as was the story line and props . I look forward to the sequel .:thumb:
