Excellent mission! I had a blast. Hardest parts for me were:
1. finding the switch to open the grate in the old woman´s kitchen (had to find the answer in this thread)
2. Understanding which room was the "old woman´s room" that the ghost talked about. Turns out it was a room I had not yet seen. :p
There are still 2 secrets and 490 more loot for me to find, so I have a little more to do. This may also be one of the rare occasions where I try to replay a mission without knocking people out.
One question:
The room where you can find the lute. Is there a way to get in here without hacking up the door?

jiansonz - There's a note in another room that mentions that the head butler keeps an extra key under a plant in the hallway outside his room. If you frob the plant, you pick up the key.

Excellent mission, to put it simply. I was addicted; this is this first time in a while I refused to stop playing until I had completely finished. Just when it seemed things were figured out, something new surprised me. Superb architecture, lighting, and use of weather. I loved the story and eagerly await the next part.

Hmm, I don't see the ghost there. Marten already told me that [SPOILER]the old woman killed him.[/SPOILER] Perhaps the objective is just not checking off? I've been having some difficulies with the guest room objective too. I'd complete it, and it doesn't check off until later in the game when I randomly re-enter guest rooms.
OK, looks like I didn't read a book that was in the attic. All done now. Great mission!!!

I don't find the old woman in her living room with a key after finding the child. Don't find a cook book in either kitchen.
