Yes, that was the one toilet I failed to check a second and third time....
I misunderstood #12.
It read like there was a statue within the kitchen, but on the other side. Not a hallway outside the kitchen. Nevertheless, that WAS what I considerred the kitchen, and I did comtemplate the staues down that hallway as what was meant, but I couldn't find the switch.
Can someone please elaborate a bit more on
the secret about the lute? And as far as all of the other things go (bracelets, glasses, personal effects) are these also to be used for objectives, secret or otherwise?
If you've got the lute in your inventory,
take it to the lutist. He's located on the 2nd floor of the first room to your right as you enter the Servant's Entrance from the outside. Climb the ladder.
If you need to find the lute,
it's in the Head Butler's room which is the first room to your right as you enter the mansion's main door from outside
I think all those trinkets et al is just the proof required for you to fulfill the objective of looting all 6 guest rooms.

wow... just... wow... :jawdrop:
thoroughly impressed with this mission - and can't wait for the next!
took me about 2 hours, with some help on the secrets and obscure clues. thanks forum-folks for that... the manor was very confusing, even when I had been through it several times; that kind of spoiled it for me, but every room was beautiful, so it wasn't terrible going through them again ;)
ROFB, get working on part 2!

I have to admit it, it's breathtaking! This mission is this kind of break-throu, same as the 7th Crystal or Ominous Bequest. I have to put this one among the best of the best missions ever created! :thumb: I play it and I play it and I bet I will play it a lot lot more, probably re-play several times.

Wonderful!!! Just finished on hard with 200 loot short. My favorite mansion mission so far. Oh yeah, I didn't find all the secrets, so I have to go back.
Nice twist at the end. I thought I am done, so the
ghost was a surprise. The only thing that took me a little bit to figure out how to poison the old woman.
The mansion is huge and there is lot to be found. Great job. This is a "keeper" on my list. :thumb:
